My tobacco shop. No more snuff. Fda

I was in my local tobacco shop last night and I asked for a Poschl snuff when he told me "when these sell out, no more snuff"! FDA rules. He said you will be allowed to order it from overseas but shops are no longer allowed to sell it.

Maybe I missed something in earlier post's but is imported snuff on the FDA ban list now for tobacco shops?

Odd, my shop just started selling snuff (Dean Swift) again, but it might be their last stock as it didn't seem like they were refilling it.

This reminds me of 1984 when that chick brings the main character some cofee (REAL COFEE!) and sugar that she got from members of the inner party. "BUT THIS IS BANNED! HOW DID YOU GET IT!" Chick: "Got it from northerner with my bonus points, sweden has never been at war with East Asia".

That sucks truthwolf, over here they have poschl at the local cigar shop but who knows how old the dispensers are. I say just order from Mr Snuff. They have a great selection.

It's weird ... haven't heard/read anything that snuff is banned anywhere in the world.

There is likely not an outright ban, but the manufacture has to register there product with the FDA. That's why you can get Skruf at buysnus but not from Northerner as Skruf has not registered there snus. I thought I had read that Toque did but not sure.

For myself I know it sure feels good knowing the FDA is out there watching out for me

Thanks, it is all coming back to me now (registering product, stating ingredients etc.. some backed out like Poschl).

Sometime last summer the guy's stock of snuff dwindled to nothing and when I went in yesterday he had everything stocked up with a number of new items so of course I had to buy a few.

When he told me the news I felt the nightmare of pact all over again. I am sure Poschl has their reasons but that really seems like quite a profit hit to just abandon US customers like that. Especially being the number one player.

just found this thread, Bakers Street in Napa, CA doesnt have this anymore either, and the retailer has been left in the dark by either poschl or wherever they are getting .... have gone in a few times asking whats up with the snuff and they never have any new news .... finally broke down and did some net surfing tonight and am finding out about PACT, (which i knew about to a degree, bought boxes online till i couldnt anymore) and whats happening with the FDA

I went there last week. Nice store but not one can of los in that fridge.
