      Jagmanss,

Don't worry, we pack our snuffs in tins with lined lids to keep the air out and we then seal them in grip seal bags, plus the weather is cold and humid. I'll even go so far as to say if they're dry, we'll replace them free of charge.

I waited almost a month for my Toque, snuff was just as fresh as when I got it in 5 days. Snuff, when put in a decent tin, will last a long time. Roderick even goes so far as to put it in little ziploc baggies.

I see all the snuff orders being affected here by delivery issues...my question: do you think these delays could trickle down to domestic U.S. mail, such as letters, not just packages? The reason I ask is because it seems mail I send out is taking quite a bit longer to reach its destination...I don't know if this is a nationwide issue or just my crazy post office.

Well, whatever the holdup was seems to have passed. I'm snuffing some fresh Raspberry Menthol that I ordered last Monday. Six mailing days, which is pretty much the normal interval for me.

Hopefully they get through the backlog from December quickly.

I've been making my own snuff for a week or so, I pretty much forgot/given up on my last order. I still have over a 100 grams of menthol, so I'm still good......for now.

              Maybe I'll receive my order someday......maybe I won't.

I'm in the same boat and still waiting on my December order, I'm not forgetting about it and hope Roderick makes this right...

Well if I had purchased some snuff from toque well over a month ago, I'd be pissed no matter who's fault it was. I'd be doubly pissed if I knew that they could send some out today that I would have it in a week. Cut your losses Roderick and send some new stuff out...... The last thing you need is to be perceived as a company that won't stand behind the delivery of your product......... It is a part of doing international trade...

"The last thing you need is to be perceived as a company that won't stand behind the delivery of your product." Dude, are you serious? That company has shipped snuff without fail for quite a while and just recently ran into issues outside of their control and you are already to pounce with posts like that?

I know it's not their fault but I still stand by my post. What about when someone searches nasal snuff and this thread pops up. I'm just saying from my perspective I would expect they send out a new package after 6 weeks. Didn't think I was "pouncing" at all. I know Rodericks a good guy, been buying snuff from him for years. I was just stating my opinion. YMMV

It’s great to be back to normal with orders taking 5-7 days to the USA. I'm also really glad to hear November, December and January orders are finally arriving. This last week has cleared quite a few, but it has been touch and go. At one stage we had nearly $80,000 worth of orders held up. All were insured, but had we claimed Royal Mail would have charged our customers twice as soon as the original shipment arrived for the replacement and the returning of the original.

You know that expression caught between a rock and a hard place. It has been so frustrating as our name was being blackened for something over which we had no control.

On a happier note we had our highest day of sales yesterday, a new record, and I must apologise if anyone had trouble placing an order last night. Our server crashed at around 5 - 7pm US time, as it couldn’t cope with the sheer number of orders, mostly from the USA. I think this might have something to do with Homeland security lifting the blockade on foreign mail on the 7th of Feb.

That reminds me: I've got a few I haven't checked yet.

Too bad the tins have to be opened ... just to find out someone forgot to pack in the sixpence.

That is great news! I'm glad to hear that more people in the US are getting into snuff. I'm looking forward to the day I can go to the local store and pick up a tin of Spanish Gem!
