First order placed.....now the waiting game!

Well, I decided to place an order for snuff today. I have been using Copenhagen (I guess you guys would call it "loose snus") snuff for years and it's time to give my mouth a break.

I remember back in school trying some raspberry sniffing snuff (as we called it) and could never find it anywhere. Fast forward 13 years and here I am. Anyways, the first order :

Then I find this forum and read about Toque so I ordered a 10 can sample pack. Of course I had to start this "hobby" a month too late to get Christmas Pudding! That sucks! Anyways.....the second order:

Absinthe, Apricot, Cherry Menthol, Coke, Grapefruit, Lime Toast, Peach, Pomegranate, Quit, Whisky & Honey


Hopefully I find something I like!

I think you'll like most of what you've ordered. Many here are nuts for the Lime Toast and almost everyone here favors one or the other Toques you'll be getting. The small tins are a good idea so you can experiment freely. Ordering larger tins can save a bit of money but be aware that many of the aroma components of snuff can fade over a period of months. Almost every Toque I've gotten has had this happen. They still work and smell fine but after four to six months the aromas may be rather muted. I notice the only unflavored version you ordered is the Quit which is a very nice natural no extra aroma snuff that has a nice kick to it. I can't recommend enough that on your next order you explore some of the "toasts" that are available such as Fribourg & Treyer's High Dry Toast. Fabulous stuff as many on this forum will attest. Not that you'll really need more for a good while with all you have coming but the relentlessly acquisitive bug is easy to catch with snuff.

Thanks for the tips Darwin. I will explore some of the toasts on my next impulse order! On a side note, its been 2 days without Copenhagen and I'm still sane! Been dipping some Hooch herbal snuff to squash a few cravings but so far all is good.

Perhaps my favourite menthol snuff, mostly as it's one of the few which don't cause my nose to run like crazy. Somewhat moist, and with a decent nicotine punch. Red bull will clear out any blocked noses, since it smells almost exactly like Vick's vapur rub. It's easy to take, cools my nose, and then slowly starts to make it run, unlike some menthols that make me run for a tissue.

When the per unit cost of snuff is so darn low, and considering how long a 25g can of snuff will last the average user, it's really hard not to overacquire sometimes.

Looks like Toque is the winner! Got the package yesterday, so 4 days is pretty good. I've tried a few of the flavors but so far I really have a thing for POMEGRANATE!

I don't think I've ever had a Toque order go past 5-6 mailing days,

4 days is the fastest Royal Mail USPS do and I have to say you are now the member of a very small club; only a handful of Americans have got their orders in 4 days. The norm is 5 days and we say 5-7 days when asked.

I just got my toque order yesterday, took 6 days to arrive, which is normal coming royal air to usa. Toque is an awesome snuff, and an awesome company. Love when it arrives so fresh you can smell it through the package, and is nice and moist. The pomegranate is a good one, so is raspberry menthol, coke, and well all of them. Quit/sp extra/and the toasts are great for those who want more nic in the snuff.

Hell I have had orders in the states take longer than 4 days Do I get a sticker for being in the club, or do I just get crabs like when I joined the mile high club?
