/Are there any side effects. I know that Snus really doesn't do anything but what about Snuff?
How dangerous is Snuff to health?

Nasal snuff, if anything, is less harmful than snus because you use a much smaller quantity. A heavy user may go through 5+ grams per day, whereas with snus many users pack away a 45g can each day. I believe the TSNA content in some snuffs, like scotches and toasts, is much higher than snus but again due to the quantity used there is little health risk.

Originally posted by RooThat is just completely insane to me. I am a very occasional user, but still I doubt I will use 5 grams in my life. The only way I can get even half way through a tin is by accidentally knocking it onto the floor. I am no expert and as such, this is probably not a true statement, but it seems like a 5g/day snuff habit would definitely, in some way, be bad for your health. Hell putting 5 grams of all purpose flour up your nose every day is probably bad for your health.

To the point of the OP, I'm unaware of permanent negative consequences due to using English, or European snuff. I'm less trustful of Indian snuff, but do use some on occasion. I wouldn't use Chinese snuff. I find it's a good policy to reduce the amount of Chinese products I put in/on my body.
You may have sinus issues, or have some reason snuff disagrees with you, but I don't think it's harmful.
