Just so everyone knows...Silver Dollar is made by Roderick at Toque for my distributor in the US ;-) Not sure if this is a secret, but it's a fact and the Silver Dollar is good. I grabbed a couple tins when I was at the last tobacco show and love it! Enjoy!!

I'm so sorry for your pain. I don't know how I missed this post but have been laughing all the way to the end. You've got some good advice on here. I'll just add my 2 cents worth.

If you are a complete beginner I suggest licking your thumb and forefinger and taking a large pinch, then rubbing the thumb and forefinger into the front part of the septum. I also say that surprisingly the larger the pinch the less of a sneeze/burn problem.

On one of the other forums a snuffer suggested, “Closing the airway to your throat, hold your breath and drop your lower jaw and tongue while keeping your mouth closed. Do it once or twice without the snuff, try it with the snuff.” I realised after I read his comments that this describes what most snuffers subconsciously progress to and it is an excellent description of an advanced technique.

My apologies I thought I'd answered your question about Original. Toque Original is a very old SP recipe and SD Original is a modern take on SP with a slight nod to the German styles of snuff. SD Original has the obvious Bergamot, a hint of menthol and a couple of secret 100% natural ingredients.
