Hedges L260 "The Snuff" - it was the most widely available in the shops when I was a teenager and I got in to snuff before any other nicotine related product (there was a little craze for it in my school). Hedges is pretty moist mentholated snuff - dark brown.Squeezyjohn

When I was at school and around 14, we stole a masters tobacco tin. We smoked all his RYO and then tried rolling his snuff. I put it to my lips and a friend lit it. I sucked burning snuff straight down my throat. Suffice to say I never went near snuff for years.
I was eventually shown the proper way to take snuff and the rest is history. I couldn't tell you what brand the first smoked/sucked one was but, I know the second was an F&T, don't remember the flavour though.Comment

Was going through a few nasal snuff threads and really didn't see a lot of newb questions so thought I'd start this and post a few of my own newb questions!... -
I'll start with Dholakia White. This is absurdly fine. I can sniff a scotch or a toast all day without any complaints but this snuff is finer than dust....
