Black Friday Sale At Mr. Snuff

Just logged into Mr. Snuff to window shop and found that they are having a 'Black Friday' Sale.......20% off of everything in the store, for today only. Just thought I'd spread the good news.

Thanks for that. I REALLY don't have the money, but there's a few snuffs I'd like to get. I'll give it some thought, and maybe put in an order. The Bernard Fictennadel is especially interesting to me.

Yeah couldn't let that one slip away from me. Added my bonus points with Mr. Snuff to the 20% discount, and got 225g of snuff for about $50, shipped. Even got a free snuff spoon for my trouble.

I tried the Fichtennadel out. It's got a real poten spruce scent to it. It can be nice at times, but sometimes I find it overpowering. To offer a comparison, the spruce scent is about as strong as the menthol in Pöschl's Red Bull, if you're familiar with that lx.

Uh oh, I got 3 tins of it :^D

I've never had RedBull due to the reviews I've read. I like menthol a good bit, but not icy, biting menthol. I prefer a warmer approach. Oh well, we'll see how it goes. I love the smell of evergreen, so it may be perfect for me. Here's my complete order. I spent a few hours deciding to hit the button. I'm sure I made the wrong decision, but Xmas is coming, and the only way I get good gifts is if I buy them myself :^D I'll cut out some kind of luxury somewhere to get the money back. I'm not sure what though :^/

          1 x Fribourg & Treyer Patchouli 25g (FT041) = $5.99
          1 x Bernard Regensburger 10g (BER464) = $3.84
          1 x Bernard Postillion 10g (BERN002) = $5.49
          1 x Molens Gingerbread 100g (MOL019) = $18.32
          1 x Molens Bon Bon 12.5g (MOL002) = $2.95
          3 x Bernard Fichtennadel 10g (BER463) = $11.85

That's always been my philosophy....always love what I get. I once walked in with a Kimber Combat Carry. My wife asked me what I had. I replied, "Only the best present you ever got me!"

I'm really glad I was the one holding the pistol....

Based on this order, I would say that you have a very eclectic choice in snuff. Nice order.

....Had the F+T Patchouli before? Either way, let me know what you think of it. Always liked Patchouli incense, but have never been sure how that would translate to patchouli tobacco powder up my nose. I'm curious. Very nearly put 25g of it on my order today.

I got a small amount in trade, and liked it a lot. It isn't overbearing, and smells like natural patchouli plant. It's more earthy, and herbal, than pungently oily like hippie oil(though I like that too)The scent goes away, and then comes back when you pinch your nose, or something like that. I'm not sure I've had a snuff that did that so dramatically. It'll be all but gone, and come right back with some nose manipulation :^D

I was using it during the last hurricane, and it was a perfect accompaniment. The earthy dampness that the wind and rain brought up matched perfectly with the patchouli snuff. It's a snuff for a walk in the woods when it's warm, but not oppressively hot.

The patchouli is good. I blew through 50g in about month....and I hate hippie smell. I just bought it on sale with the intent to trade if I hated it.

My order came today, and I'm banging on 8 cylinders; not a dud in the bunch. I'm still getting to know them, but the weakest so far is the Molens BonBon. There's nothing wrong with it, but it's subtle to the point of almost not being there. I've never had a snuff before that was like snuffing nothing. Light scent, and zero burn. It's definitely the easiest snuff I've ever taken, This would likely be a good introduction to snuff for a newcomer.

The gingerbread is fantastic. Long lasting scent, and not too burny. I get a hint of banana in the background. Very interesting.

The Fichtennadel is kind of synthetic, but it mellows out very nicely. I also like the menthol. It's the most like being outside in cold air of any menthol I've had. Really unique. Some of that might be do to my house being 50f, but I don't get that coolness from my other menthols. I'm glad I got 3 tins.

The other Bernards I don't have a firm grasp on yet. They're typical heavy fruit schmaltzers, but I did them too close together, so the subtitles are escaping me atm. Definitely first class snuff though, and reaffirms my preference for German snuff, and Bernard in particular :^)

I've had the patchouli before, so I haven't opened that tin yet. I assume it's just as good as what I had previously.

I know from some previous posts that you're a Bernard fan, and I'm beginning to see why. I got Zweifacher and Brasil Doppelt Fermentiert with my new order and am really loving them both.

Those are 2 of my favorites, but it's hard to tell with them. They have a lot of snuff in the same general category, but when I pick one I think I prefer, I'll have another that's just subtly different, and then prefer that one for a little while. That makes it hard ordering. It's a lot of money to come off of at one time, especially when the differences aren't huge, but then I feel like I'm missing out if I leave some off the cart.

I'd like to see them sell more in airtight bulk containers. The Molens drums would be perfect for Bernard snuff. Keep everything moist and fresh, and make it easy to stock up.
