    Garlic Snuff

I just had a frozen pizza, and I always put garlic powder on top. After eating, I always end up with a small amount of garlic on my fingers, and it transfers to my pinch of snuff. I really like that scent. It only takes a miniscule amount. I can't smell it on my fingers straight, but it somehow gets on the snuff. It isn't really identifiable as garlic I don't think, but I'm sure that's what it is.

That would be easy as pie to make yourself. I'd probably put some plain American scotch on a plate with just a tiny bit of garlic powder on the other side, and nuke it in the microwave for 30" or so. I might have to give it a try when I find my Standard snuff. It's kind of bland on its own, so that would be a perfect base.

This sounds great.. considering I love the odd snuffs ie cheese and bacon, D White. Only thing is that this snuff would probably make me crave Italian food ha.

Ok, I've got to try it. I've made a garlic/peach ice cream topping that was good.

              Garlic

Garlic has been used as both food and medicine in many cultures for thousands of years, dating back to when the Egyptian pyramids were built. In early 18th-century France, gravediggers drank crushed garlic in wine believing it would protect them from the plague that killed many people in Europe. During both World Wars I and II, soldiers were given garlic to prevent gangrene. Today garlic is used to help prevent heart disease, including atherosclerosis or hardening of the arteries (plaque buildup in the arteries that can block the flow of blood and may lead to heart attack or stroke), high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and to boost the immune system. Garlic may also help protect against cancer.
Garlic is rich in antioxidants, which help destroy free radicals -- particles that can damage cell membranes and DNA, and may contribute to the aging process as well as the development of a number of conditions, including heart disease and cancer. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals and may reduce or even help prevent some of the damage they cause over time.

Well the ability of tobacco to acquire scent is amazing. Just place snuff in a container with some garlic and remove when sufficient scenting has been achieved.

That's the ticket. Mix it with something like Toque Natural Toast, and you have....Garlic Toast!!!!

Yeahhhh, I dunno about Garlic snuff. Then again, I didn't know about Cheese And bacon snuff either, and that worked out pretty well..

The key is keeping it subtle I think. The scent isn't obviously garlic, not like you smell crushing garlic anyway. It's kind of toasty, and almost bready, but I think the breadiness is just cause it reminds me of pizza :^D If I were given the snuff, and not told what it was, I don't think I'd be able to identify the scent, if that gives you an idea of how garlicy it is.

Seriously, next time you have a pizza, or something else that's kind of strongly flavored, before washing your hands take some plainer snuff. It's pretty good :^)

This is perfect for our naturals. They will take on strong smells like garlic or blue cheese just from close contact. Other more subtle flavours we have to mix in.
