I recently made a snus trade and I was sent a little bag of it as bonus prize. I am certain that a devilish grin was on display as it was slipped into the package.

We are talking some seriously funky shit! The smell is roughly perfume+fish+bat turds. I decided that despite the rank smell I'd grab a healthy pinch and snort it up. Aside from nearly taking my head off, it imparted a wonderfully disgusting smell/taste that lasted for hours. One day when I'm drunk I'm going to try dipping it just to see what it's like. I'm sort of stupid that way.

Anybody experienced this stuff?

I have tried to dip a couple of scotch snuffs but I'm always wondering how they used to dip the nasal snuff in the old times, I mean it's powder it doesn't stay in your lip properly.

the scotch snuff I have dipped were all quite sweet so not a bad taste, but they would dissolve rapidly and wouldn't stay in my lip.

The way they dipped it was they took a stick.......... whittled the bark off of it (a popsicle stick would work) would moisten it (lick it) put it in the snuff............ and then suck on the stick..........spit if needed......repeat

read somewhere that grandma's would use small spoons to insert the snuff in their lip

so it was also dipped, yeah so there were quite a few methods........
