    Want to try snuff question

I have a quick question. I live in NC and have access to a lot of American snuff's. What is a good beginner snuff that I can buy in the store locally. I am an ex smoker and ex Copenhagen dipper. I switched full time to Snus about two months ago. Really enjoy it am looking to start my snuff adventure locally first before I start placing online orders. Thanks in advance.

What you're likely to find locally are what are referred to as Scotch snuffs and since the main characteristic of a Scotch is that it is ground extremely fine with a high nicotine content they can be very difficult for a beginning snuffer to handle. Use caution and teensy very light sniffs to start. Outside the insular world of American Scotches a very big wide world of hundreds of different types of snuff exist. Explore and enjoy.

Where in NC are you? Like Darwin said what you find in the grocery stores is typically the American varieties which are not really beginner friendly. However I know of a place in Raleigh and another in Wilmington to get others, Both sell poschl products, but the one in Raleigh also has some WOS tubs.

I am near Charlotte I think I am just going to order online and follow the beginners guide to snuff. The nicotine doesn't scare me I just want something that is nice and smooth and pleasant to go with my snus.

Get a variety from a few different manufacturers/countries. Snuff varies much more widely than snus, and you may like one a lot more than another.

So I happened to be in my local tobacco store and they had these little snuff cans called Silver Dollar. I remembered reading about them on here so figured I would give them a whirl. I tried the cherry and the original. very easy for me to take in following the beginners guide to snuff. I am really digging these and they are going great with my Oden's Extreme. Really excited about trying some other brands from Mr Snuff. This is something that I think I am going to enjoy. :-)

Those are toque products made for the American market. I've never had them, but I'm sure they're great. That should give you an idea of what Toque snuffs are about.

So I really enjoyed the silver dollar snuff's figured I would try one of the American scotches. I heard some good things about honey bee. They only had the big 4.65oz containers at the store so for twelve bucks I figured what the hell I will give it a shot and I absolutely love it very sweet smokey flavor and a wonderful burn with a decent uplifting nicotine hit. If the other scotches are even remotely as good as this I will need to go no further.

Well it only took six days for My Mr. Snuff order to get to NC. I ordered:
                      Torque Spanish Gem
                      Bernard Zwiefacher
                      Bernard Gehupftabah
                      F&T HDT
                      McChrystals 0 & G
I have only tried the zweifacher so far and it is great huge difference from american scotches. I am really enjoying this snuff thing

Right? Spanish Gem was my first empty tin, and is still my everyday go-to snuff.

The only one I am not too crazy about is the 0&G.
