Just got back on the snuff wagon and I'm so glad I did. I came off snuff because a bought a load of it and probably OD'd. I took a real desire to have some recently so I bought some Athertons Jasmine from GN. This stuff has a lovely kick, very similar to the feel of Wilsons of Sharrow Best SP as far as I remember. Not normally a fan of perfumed snuff but this is good.
I'm only going to use it a few times a day so I get the full effect.

I'd love to know if Athertons do an unscented i.e. natural snuff.

Sounds good, Wilsons Best SP I use everyday and love the stuff, Wilson's Jasmine is very good too (92p a tin on their site iirc). Think I will but an Athertons into my next order from Odens. Thanks for the heads up mate.

Nah - I've been there with Eucalyptus and menthol. It irritates my nose slightly.

It's not got menthol in it... so it shouldn't irritate in the same way as a menthol... but hey i understand.

Yeah, I never got into eucalyptus though. Oddly I'm diggin' the Jasmin - maybe I'm a bit of a girl.

I hear you. I haven't tried Jasmin but i enjoy perfumed nasal snuff.

I usually get mine from Gauntleys in Nottingham from their site (I get on well with Glynn the manager there so sometimes get a few extras for free) their postage is cheaper than Wilsons direct, picket up some Wilsons in Turmeaus in Chester today (they were excited about the can of General I had with me and said they would stock snus the second it becomes legal here again!!). If you want an uplifting mint but not menthol then try Crumbs of Comfort or Country mint (spearmint ones) also camphor and mild is nice if you find menthol irritates your nose. Avoid Hedges L260, the strongest menthol snuff known to man!!! lol

Try French Carotte if you like perfumed snuffs, Freybourg & Treyer and Wilson's are both very good.

Toque Quit has a pretty big nic kick to it, I would say its extreme, the Oden's Extreme of the snuff world. There is a F&T one that has one hell of a punch to it too, I forget its name.
