    My Birthday Order

After a long time holding back on the spends, I've decided I need a treat, so I bought a wooden snuff box and in it is going:

    Ordered from www.mysmokingshop.co.uk

    Poschl Radford Premium 1

    Gawith Hoggarth Kendal Brown 1
    Gawith Hoggarth Whisky 1
    Gawith Hoggarth Jasmin 1
    Gawith Hoggarth SP
    Gawith Hoggarth Sea Breezes

    WoS Best SP x2
    WoS Brunswick 1
    WoS Tom Buck 1
    WoS Thyme & Lemon 1
    WoS Best Dark 1

Got Atherthons Jasmin - I hope all these 13 tins will fit in my box. They'll certainly last a while. The snuff including delivery came to about £24.
I'll post a pick when I'm up and running :-)

I only ordered from them once. Very soon after my order their credit processor wouldn't honor US orders. I got a few tine of Robbys Top Mint before they quit production. Not so much because I like the snuff, but for the awesome tins it came in. Every tin was a nice classic snuffbox. It had a silly looking walrus on the front, but that's a small price to pay for a great snuffbox :^D

              Edit:
BTW, happy early birthday Extreme :^)

I love old type tins for snuff. Shame there's not so much around. The dispensers are handy though but it would be nice if they were metal rather than plastic.
The sharrow tins are a bit of a pain even though I like them cause the snuff spills out when it's full. Think I might get a wooden box for when I choose an all dayer.

I had a wooden box once, and promptly lost it at work. Honestly, it wasn't very practical. I never really found an all dayer. I always travel with a few different snuffs. A nice sterling box would be sweet for formal occasions, but I don't really do formal occasions. It would end up being a waste. Here's what the Robbys box looks like...

My biggest nightmare is that opening up in my pocket. Pretty practical looking though.

My WoS Strawberry tin has the loosest lid in the world, I have to put tape on it to transport home in my pocket!

Warned you about those! Anything with whiskey in I avoid as I don't like whiskey and they are always medicated. Toque whiskey and honey though is very good, more honey than whiskey.

I'm realising, even though I like Best SP, I prefer darker coarser tobacco. I've got some of those coming on my second order. I've got a couple in mind from F and Treyer that I want to try.

Old Paris!! Dark and very moist, but smells like old bookshops so you may not like it, very good though! Dr J R Justice you will like! There is another which looks like coffee grinds, very coarse and moist but is tre bien! name escapes me atm.
