Old Paris!! Dark and very moist, but smells like old bookshops so you may not like it, very good though! Dr J R Justice you will like! There is another which looks like coffee grinds, very coarse and moist but is tre bien! name escapes me atm.

@Skell18: You might be thinking of Santo Domingo, I really like that one and was using it at work all day today. That one is worth a try if you like dark and course, Extreme. The main flavour is cedar with some sandalwood and violet, very nice. I believe F&T also makes Dr J.R. Justice. I haven't tried that one yet.

Thats the one! Got one hell of a nic kick to it too, love the stuff. However I find it clumps at the back of your throat very quickly and runs down very slowly if you use a lot of it. Worth it though as it is truly fantastic.

I'm not a big fan of GH snuffs. There's a couple I like ok, but I could go the rest of my life without them. They seem to be a cut below the other big makers.

Yeah Lx, that's what i'm finding out to my cost. Some of these are fit for the bin. Only the best are fit for my snuff box. I'll get there and when I'll do I'll photograph the lot.

GH Whisky 1/10 Don't waste your money. No whisky just menthol.
GH Jasmin 5/10 Average Jasmin snuff
GH SP 8/10 Yeah, I know, surprised me too. Natural plain tobacco - good burn
GH Sea Breezes 8/10 beautifully mentholated, nice tobacco that lingers.

Wos Best SP 10/10
Tom Buck 10/10
Best Dark Not my bag. Give this one time yet.
Brunswick Very interesting snuff. Leave this with me. Requires a bit of analysis yet.
Thyme & Lemon 6/10 Matter of taste this one. You've really really got to love thyme.

P.S. There's a nice touch on the GH SP tin - the sides are reflective gold, so you can see if there's any snuff around your nose very clearly. The dispensers are very handy.

Right, After a lot of farting around I've settled on my snuff.

To finish off my snuff box I'm sticking with and put in an order of X2 25g of Best SP and X2 25mg of Tom Buck and x1 12g of Menthol Plus. I'll stick with these. They're really good.

I do feel that because the WoS tins overflow that I need a wooden snuff box. I'll probably get one next month. It seems that the only real place to get them is Mr Snuff.

Warning on the menthol plus, it is very very strong in the menthol department, eye waterningly so! Super menthol is the strongest so be careful with it. Just a notch below Hedges L260.

I remember somebody asking me if snus was banned could I just use snuff to which I replied 'no' which was due to past experience. I'd used a bullet before which just doesn't supply enough snuff which is what I based that answer on. I take it off the back of my hand now, get my nose right in it, take plenty and oh yeah, it gives as much nicotine as you want.

Thats ok then, I only use the l260 or the strong menthols when i have a cold. I use Prime Minster as my nose clenser at the end of a day normally, sometime suse a menthol for a bit of an uplift. They are good in the monring to wake you up!
