The Best Representations of the Different Styles of Snuff

Could someone give me a list of their favorite snuffs from every class?

Like what's your favorite SP, your favorite Scotch, your favorite Toast, your favorite Frenchy/Perfumed, your favorite Menthol, your favorite White, your favorite Schmaltzer or whatever they're called? I don't even know all the classes but I'm kind of on the path to having a serious snuff collection (a bunch of bills I thought were going to bankrupt me ended up being covered by insurance).

My knowledge of snuff is reasonable but limited at the same time given the amount of snuff available.

For a menthol try Bernard Jubilaums. When I first took it I found it strong on the menthol but very quickly got used to it and now find it very nice indeed. If you're heads foggy after a difficult day this will clear it. It's warming too and is a great snuff. I think I'll always have a box of this.

For a Schmalzler try Bernard Original Brasil Double Fermented. It's chocolatey pipe tobacco - dark, coarse and drippy.

My top snuffs at the moment are Dholakia White followed by WoS Tom Buck and Best SP. I've yet to try Toque SP Extra and Fubar Grunt Original which I know I'll like.

These lists exist on several sites. They only represent the preferences of that user. There will be a lot of snuffs that rise to the top, being good quality. I know you post on Snuffhouse, do a search. I really like one in ten of the snuffs I have, took a long time to get through them. My advice is to keep searching and learn from each one you encounter. I have read thousands of snuff reviews on snuffs I have tried, I learned which reviewers shared my tastes. This takes time and money.

Always revisit a snuff, your tastes may change.

Two and a half years ago I was one this site driving Lxskllr nuts with these snuff questions, he was very good about it.

I really want to pay that forward, and I see where you are going with this, but I think you should slowly take on more snuff and just season in for now. Half the fun is on researching what you might like to try. I see that the snuff review site is down again, and that is a damn shame too. Everyone gets exited at first, that is the fun part, explore. My list is only right for me, your list will be different.

Besides-

I am deathly allergic to Menthols.
I detest Frenchy perfumed.
Only really prefer like one scotch, have twenty five.
Not crazy about White snuff.
I sniff Fubar Grunt and smile 95% of the time! But, I have the "original" batch.
I vastly prefer to snuff from Bulk. It is a hell of a lot fresher that way.
I think the best snuff I ever had was the unobtainable "Spanish Jewel".
I make my own snuff.

Nah I'm actually not on snuffhouse there's something wrong with their registration. But cool good advice I'll just keep spending my "screw-you" money on snuff and see how my palate develops. I'm still not even totally off the cigs, though I've been able to cut way way back (only have had 2 today and I've been up since 5am!)

SP- Toque SP Extra
Scotch - W E Garrett
Toast - Fribourg and Treyer High Dry Toast
I have never found a menthol that I liked
Never tried a white but am interested

If you like scotches then I would recommend Toque Bourbon. Great smoky flavor although I am not really sure that it is exactly a scotch.
