Another great use for nasal snuff

I left my tin of Toque Menthol out over the weekend when I left town and came back to my apartment smelling like snuff, great scent too! Since I live in an older apartment complex, it was a welcome replacement to the old musty scent that usually accompanies it.

this snuffing doggy can he pinch or is he a straight from the tin dog, also do you help him take the lids off the tins to cut down on the mess?
how did you train him to blow his nose and what handkerchiefs will he use ok silk or cotton ?

It's great really! Sometimes I have to keep a tin of Toque open for a few days to get the ammonia smell out of it. Just before Christmas I did it with Christmas Pudding and my office smelled like the holidays!

They all have trouble with the tins so get them some of those annoying Poschl tap boxes. For a snuffin dog such as a Lab or other working breed, I suggest a rustic red flannel but for the more pampered breeds silk would be best.

But seriously all it takes is get a spoonful of snuff, pinch his jaws back by the molars to get him to open his mounth and apply it the tounge. They will be pooping out piles of roundworms by morning! We used to do it all the time using a double pinch of Copenhagen back home. As soon as the baccy hits their tounge, release the jaw and grab around the muzzle until they swallow it.
