Made my own snuff from a 73 year old pack of Philip Morris cigs.

Decided to make my own "vintage" snuff and all I had was a pack of PM cigarettes I had bought at an antique store. Tax stamp from 1940 and unopened. "English Blend" pre-war.

I ground it up with a mortar and pestle and added a small amount of clove as seasoning. Still waiting for it to sit a bit and I may give it a second pulverizing to make sure it is fine enough.

    What u think?

I am thinking why would you do that? Certainly that pack of smokes was worth more than a can of snus.

It would have been but I opened it a couple years back and a friend and I smoked two of them (after re-rolling). I thought at least it would make a good can of snuff that I can use sparingly and I saved the pack and tax stamp as a collector piece.

73 year old tobacco is horrible as a smoke but actually pretty good for snuffing. It was PLENTY dry already.

Glad it turned out good. I'd have saved a couple cigarettes as an example. I could see collecting them. Get enough vintage cigarettes, you could mount them under glass.
