I have an order coming from Toque also. Today I bought a Dean Swift Raspberry and 2 Ozona flavors, by Pöeschl, the maker of Gawith's. I don't like Gawith's Apricot too much. The Dean Swift Ras. is great though. I'm excited for my Toque mix to arrive, I'll keep you guys posted.

I'm pretty sure you all will be happy with the Toque snuff you're getting. I just got some a few days ago and it's really nice stuff. The only problem is not knowing when to stop. Once I start I just keep snuffin and snuffin with no end in sight. It's very tasty, gives you a quick little hit and it goes great with snus, what's not to love!

        Same here.

The cool thing is that I can usually only breathe well out of one nostril because my sinus' act up a lot but using nasal snuff clears my sinus' out quite well. Helps me breathe better.

I know Swedish Match makes some nasal snuff anyone know what its called?

So you guys are finally getting the picture as far as nasal snuff goes? lmao....about time. I do Wilsons Menthol Plus exclusively since they quit making Dr. Rumleys how many years ago. I limit my consumption to save my sinus. So I only consume snuff at night, with snus, while puffin non-tobacco. And ocasionally have a cuban. Then doing a fiery Itallian. [my wife] Adds a new meaning to the term.........Good Night.

Good advice here on using nasal snuff. As for its history, it was the first recorded use of tobacco, before we chewed and smoked it. It has a long history of safe usage and was the mark of aristocrats in other times. Cuffs and cuff links used to hold nasal snuff, so a sniff could be taken mid-speech in Parliament.

Great for sinus clearing. Use nasal snuff during allergy season and see if it doesn't help your symptoms.

If you're Southern American, chances are good your grandma dipped a wet stick in American snuff products and rested it between cheek and gum.

Now .. get ready to get acquainted with a neti pot.

There's a funny YouTube video on using one (can be bought at any local drug store). It's nasal irrigation and you do it each night, like brushing teeth, but this is like flushing your nose! Tilt head sideways, pour water in one nostril and let it run out the other.

No, I don't do it, because nasal snuff in an occasional pleasure for me, but the hard-core bunch make sure they flush their nose before pulling the covers up.

My sister's in-laws turned me onto the neti-pot. I have allergies and when I was a smoker I was in poor health. Some people write off the neti-pot as new-age BS, but I use it whenever I begin to feel like I'm getting sick, I use it and I feel any seasonal illness is gone more quickly.

I just got some new snuffs today. I'll put my reviews here so I don't clutter the board with snuff posts. These are all Wilson's of Sharrow unless otherwise noted...

                      Irish High Toast

It's been a long time since I've had Copenhagen dip, but this smells like Cope to me. Dark and leathery, with a distinct smokiness, very nice. It's not one I'd want to use all day, but the powerful tobacco scent is appealing.

                      Lemon Grove

Lemon and pepper is what this smells like. The lemon's a little different, but I can't put my finger on it. It's more like a lemony herb than a true lemon. I like this, but I'd have to be in the right mood for it. I'm not sure what that mood is yet, but suffice it to say this won't be a traveling snuff.

                      Best SP

I think this is one of the oldest flavors made. Afaik the recipe's been around for over 200 years. This is tobacco with some vague fruity notes, and herbs. It's good, but the flavor seems to die out quick. I may get this again sometime, but it won't be a regular.

                      Crumbs of Comfort

Menthol and spearmint. This is one of my favorites so far. I really like the menthol snuffs, and this one is a nice break from the Gawith Apricot. It's a bit milder, and the spearmint is distinctive.

                      Gawith Apricot(Pöschl)

My current favorite. Strong menthol, and camphor? Fades out to the slightest flavor of apricot. This isn't fruity by any stretch. The apricot is very faint, but the initial menthol hit is quite powerful. I haven't gotten tired of this one yet :^)

                      Ozona President(Pöschl)

Menthol again, but not as strong as the Gawith. The description says it has eucalyptus, but I'm not convinced that's what I'm tasting. When the menthol dissipates, there's a secondary flavor that I can't put my finger on. This is good, but I prefer the Gawith.

Well, that's it. Keep in mind that the Wilson's snuffs were in bulk containers so I can't verify the freshness or anything. That could have some bearing on the strength and character of the flavors. The High Toast is my favorite tobacco flavor, and the Gawith is my favorite "flavored" snuff.
