Bought a domain....

Well I bought a domain that struck me as a gold for a snuff website.

"Snuffhappens.com" is now mine, w00t. haha.

No idea what it's going to be used for but I had to grab it. (Only paid $1.17)

Man snuff is such a nitch market it has been hard to keep formums or review sites up and running. Snuff house to my knowledge is the longest running and most active site in English

You're definitely right the niche is TINY, but in the past I have found success in jumping on tiny niches trying to ride them to popularity. (I'm probably just reaching here)

I was big into binaural beats when they were unheard of and made some decent money from them. Sometimes a small niche is as good as it is bad

Good luck! I've run Snubie.com for over 8 years now and have seen so many sites/blogs/YouTube channels come and go. It's unfortunate. We really need more people out there writing about snus, making videos, etc. The more people spreading the word the more exposure snus gets. I wish you all the best with your new website!

I don't think the user realizes that domain sold in 2016 to a snuf specialty store that is opening in Jan 2017. Obviously someone is reselling websites. The guy is having problems setting it up and he has contacted the FCC to have that domain investigated.

If by user you mean me, then I think I can assume what has happened here.

The original owner must of purchased this domain from 1and1.com and probably let it expire. When 1and1 has domains expire they retain a hold on it and either sell it off or use it to forward to their site. They have shady practices. I purchased this domain (No Website Included) from 1and1.com and I now legally own it even through the ICANN system. =]

Edit: By the way, Who claims to own this for a Snuff Specialty Store?

People buy up domains all the time, especially ones that forget to pay. If the store forgot to pay and didn't renew, it was probably snatched up and re-sold. It's not illegal by any means.

As a note these domains are for my personal reviews and in no way will compete with this or other forums.

To be honest it's hopefully just going to be somewhere to archive my reviews in a decent looking format.

That's how it starts, haha. I started doing it for the same reason - to keep up with products I had tried as well. But it becomes an addiction!

Haha, W000t. Hell yeah, I'm definitely interested in writing snus/snuff reviews. I love writing personally just not the best at it. =]
