Nasal Snuff

I too am anxiously awaiting my first snuff order... I'm hoping it might do something for my asthmatic condition, but I'm not counting on that. at the very least it will be fun, and reduce my more expensive snus intake.

I'm just excited to have a whole new world to go explore. As I said, I have now tried every single snus out there. So now it's time to explore every flavor of snuff out there. :lol: :lol:

James, You might want a bigger pinch than the bullet delivers. The use of a spoon is common for snuff. With a flip top box and an overgrown toenail you might get a good scoop. Snuffing off the back of the hand (or in your case foot) is another method of taking snuff. It sounds like you are resourcesful enough so I do recommend trying some of these other methods. Suprisingly enough, I've sound a bullet dose is just about the right size for me normally. Honestly, I'm so used to using the pinch now, I mostly use the bullet for easy storage and measuring, not to snuff out of it.

Although if I wasn't using cheap bullets that don't work well, I probably would use it right. I'm thinking of buying a bunch of toque bullets and "modding" them to work better than usual.

got my toque snuff today, immediately ripped it open and took a bullet hit(must have looked like a wild animal).

glad that I felt an immediate effect(at first it was like nicotine was digging tunnels through my sinuses!). unfortunately, I felt back to baseline in 20 minutes. I took a second pinch, and I've had it in for about 40 minutes and still feel good.

my experience is noteworthy because I don't have experience with cigarettes- only smokeless methods. the hit is the fastest out of smokeless methods, but it drops off too fast for me. I think I will be doing the "snuff then snus" methodology. That is, getting there quicker with snuff and maintaining with snus.

I have a question, though. I think I will re-use these bullets, is there a way to take them apart, or do you just funnel new snuff in the top?

There should be a screw at the bottom and if you unscrew it, you should be able to refill it. Just beware not to get tobacco caught in the threads or it'll cause leakage problems.

I ordered my samples from Toque a while before yours and they still haven't come yet. There's some serious slowness ordering anything from the UK. I ordered some samples from Dholakia too, and they will take even longer from India.

I know it sucks, but you'll have to be patient. Or you can do what I did and find a local shop that has some Poschl Ozona President or something like that and then order something from Mr. Snuff or NicotineRush.

I didn't get any samples, I just upped and ordered three 25g tins. I mean, I have read enough reviews to know it's good, at least if I decide I like snuff., and it was only $11.99. So I would expect it not to take "too much" longer than Buysnus.

I ordered Tuesday 10 PM their time. I will be happy if I get it sometime next week.

But I ill be running to the mail box as soon as I get home each night!!

my order took 11 days. I got chocolate, peppermint bullets and a toffee tin.

I have to say I don't like the chocolate. If no one told me it was chocolate then I wouldn't be able to tell... it just tastes strange. peppermint is excellent, have yet to try the toffee.

I received a sampler pack from Dholakia today. I was expecting another order so I rushed to the mailbox. In it was not the large envelope I hoped for, instead there was a funny little cloth package. About 3 inches square, with stamps on it. 5 stamps and a return address in India. I looked at the package more carefully. It was hand sewn shut. With names and addresses written by hand. I very carefully opened the package to preserve it as much as I could. It's just so cool I had to mention it.
Oh yeah, the snuff is pretty good also.

Try letting the Chocolate air out a little. About the bullets. Sometimes they don't get the snuff to the right part of your nose. Awfully convenient though.

11 days? that would put mine here some time at the end of the week. That's cool. I'll still run to the mailbox every day just in case!!

Ordering from Toque is a trip, I've received it in as little as 5 days in the past and usually within 7 to 10. My last order though took a full 15 days to arrive. I guess the holidays still had the mail a little sluggish. Let us know what you think.
