    Snuff?

I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with snuff. I just ordered a few tins of Toque Snuff really cheap. Free shipping! Hoping to have this around in case I run out of snus, plus my gums are getting a little sore. Any info would really help!

There are some threads on snuff here at SnusOn.
It seems that a few new young snuffers tend to over indulge. Snuff delivers a nice nic kick and there is an interesting selection of flavors. However, nasal snuff should be taken in moderation.

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

It is interesting stuff but I no longer use it.

It was just too big of a hassel to have to always have something like a tissue or hanky ot blow my nose everytime i used it.

not to mention that at first it was nice and cleared my sinuses then it just started clogging them up so i had to start using Saline spray.

Its ok from time to time but nothing ill order again.

Still have 5 cans of the stuff I havent touched in a month.

Well i still use it 3-4 times a day. Good stuff and the price is really good as well. The toque is good but seem to have the same nic content.

I still use it as well. Since I have gravitated more to lössnus, I tend to use snuff and Onyx at work or, when I'm out and about. I like the seemingly endless amount of flavors and the price. I made a few big purchases which will last me a long time!

What I find irritating about it is, ordering from the UK takes forever, imo. An order of snus from Sweden takes an average of 5 to 6 days. An order of snuff from England takes an average of 2 weeks.

There is an online store that is based out of Florida that has great prices and, 3 to 4 day delivery! Here's the site, www.nicotinerush.com Check 'em out.

I recommend snuff to anyone trying to quit smoking. The combination of snus and snuff can kill the strongest of cig cravings, at least that's been my experience. One of the best parts is how cheap snuff is, a small tin can last a very long time.

Hi there, long time listener...first time caller!

I've been smoke free for a couple months with snus and snuff myself. I found that the menthol snuff stomps any urge I have to smoke and now I actually crave the stuff when I wake up! And it is true, the stuff literally seems to last forever.

On the shipping times though, I live in the PacNW and it takes a week from Sweden, a week from Pennsylvania and get this...3 days from England. Still don't get that.

I never understood either why Snuff from UK took 2 weeks while snus from Sweden took 4-5 days

Enjoying your comments. Hopefully my order will arrive Friday before I go out of town for Turkey Day. Although the whole having to blow your nose a lot doesn't sound appealing.

No worry, bearcat87, nasal snuff is not that bad. In fact it is a nice add-on to snus, with a very low but fast acting nicotine-release and nice flavors (not only the mentholated brands but even the pure-tobacco-varieties are very rich in flavor).

Just make sure that your first pinch is as small as possible or else you might feel like not only your nose but your entire head is going to explode. BTW, my nasal-snuff-pinches are still as small as possible, because my nose doesn't agree with too much of the stuff, even after a year of use.

                    Cheers!

While it's true that most snuff is low in nicotine, a few of them like the American Scotches are quite strong and capable of inducing some lovely OD-like symptoms if care isn't taken.

The best of the bunch there is Rooster, with a pretty decent flavor too once accustomed to it. I know I know, the nitrosamines, Lordy the nitrosamines.........

I've been using snuff a bit here and there.

I had a dinner meeting last night. Awfully big meal. No snus, no snuff.
I haven't had a cigarette in two weeks and wasn't about to step out in the freezing cold for one either.

So I get home, pop in two Grov Black, snuff some Gawith Apricot, and BLAMO!! I greatly over-estimated my nicotine need.

I figured the big meal and few hours of nicotine fasting warranted my actions. WRONG.

Snuff really does give me a bounce right away. On top of two sterk portions was a roller coaster ride.

                        Good times...

barber... In the words of... (oh , I forget what his name was), "better multiple sniffs of snuff and a single snus, than a single sniff of snuff and multiple snusses... or something like that.

                          And now you know...

ummm.....Rob......I think it was Moses that said that as he was wandering the desert. Speaking of Moses....now theres a man that needed a hanky. 40 years of walkin around in the dry dusty desert air, he certainly had a need to clean out once in a while.

ummm... Parrots... Moses was a leader of Men. He set an example for others. Why else do you think that in lieu of no handkerchief... that some people use their sleeves.

Moses forgive me. ...I know he had a sense of humor.
