    Snuff - tins or bullets?

I've recently gotten hooked on Toque snuff, and I just had a question for you snuffers out there:

Do you prefer the tins or the bullets? At first, I thought the bullets would be ideal, since they measure out a dose for you, are very discreet, etc. Yet I'm beginning to find I can take a pinch from a tin very easily and quickly with little to no waste. Bullets are really cool, but the tins are, I'm finding, just as easy, not to mention a lot more economical.

    Any thoughts?

I got myself a small little wooden snuff box. I prefer a pinch to a bullet hands-down.

As far as snuff is concerned though, I just cannot get it in as a regular staple in my tobacco use. I have enough issues with my sinuses as-is without packin' crap inside my nose.

I used quite a bit when I first ordered it just out of sheer excitement to try something new. After a couple days, the brown snot in the shower thing wore thin.

Now I take an occasional pinch or two (or ten) when the mood strikes me, but those moods are few and far between.

Anyways, my ramblings did nothing to answer your question. I hate when people ramble aimlessly without answering my question!

Send a PM to onefortheroad over on snuffhouse.org. He sells very nice little wooden snuff boxes (where I got mine). Cost me about $15ish bucks and was delivered via USPS within a few days.

      Here is a pic:

      Enjoy!

Toque is great stuff if you can get into the whole thing.

i prefer the tin over bullet, basically for the reasons you have stated. Plus the bullet just doesn't make a large enough portion/pinch for me at times.

Yep, not a big enough portion for me either. And bullets can get clogged.

Well, I think bullets just plain suck...

Dose is too small, harder for me to gauge the sniff required for intake...

kind of, well, inelegant as well.

I'm a pincher, and use about a gram or two of snuff a day... (on top of about 3 portion snus and three pinches of loose snus....)

            man I love my nicotine...

I'm for tins or any other kind of packaging that allows me to take a pinch or to otherwise take as much (or little) snuff as I want to.

I haven't tried the bullets yet.

              Cheers!

I think a pinch is best. Sometimes I use a spoon. Bullets are good for driving.

Eh, trying to line things up in a bullet while driving is just as hazardous for me as rying to open a tin...

Well for me it's the opposite, and I drive a standard tranny (stick shift)... Bullets are easy when driving. I find opening a snuffbox difficult in traffic, but can do it on a highway when I'm just cruising. jmo.

I like pinches as well. The bullets are a pain. I have 2 boxes like Xobe's from onefortheroad as well. You can also get them at Tom's site - www.nicotinerush.com . They cost the same as getting them from onefortheroad and, you can get some snuff to fill these beauties with as well! Here's a pic of my boxes:

The light one has Rooster and, the dark one has Christmas Joy!!

Have you all drilled your bullets out? I have six Toque bullets and not one of them worked worth a damn when I got em. After drilling/reaming I don't even have to turn the lever to sniff the drier ones; they just pours through with huge hits, often too huge. Before that they were constantly clogging and gave tiny hits.

I use the bullets about half the time when pinching could be messy or difficult. I prefer tins when possible due to better control.

Roderick might wanna consider doing something about his bullets, I see these comments at Snuffhouse too. Bullets are gonna get a bad name with these things. Working properly though, these things are great. :P

pinchin is better. Either pinch and sniff from the pinch or just dump some on the back of your hand.

I tend to sniff directly off the back of my hand, is this normal?
