I use nicotine for medicinal purposes.

Seriously, if you due a search on ADHD, you will see my numerous posts with links talking about how scientists have figured out that nicotine is as effective as Rittalin in treating ADHD. As an old meth head from the 80's (went to Berkley, my chrystal meth came from your fine city), there is just no way I can use amphetamines to treat my ADHD I stopped using meth in 89, but know I would start abusing my meds within a week. Just know myself too well.

I quit snus a year and a half ago when I was briefly dating a woman with a heart condition. Without nicotine, I was almost non functional. It is amazing how effective it is. I came to snus (and now snuff) as a much safer way for me to get my nicotine. I can never quit it, at least until docs come up with a better non amphetamine way to treat my disfunction.

To resurrect an oldish thread, nasal snuff is great! I've been using it daily for months now. Some favorites are Poschl Menthol, Ozona President, and Poschl Cola. I find it to be a very energizing wake up type of nic hit. Good for a morning wake up for me. Good Stuff!

THATS THE STUFF!... for about 9 years now I've been searching for the first nasal snuff I tried!

        raspberry friggin rocks!

I use the "pit" at the base of my thumb right next to the wrist.

You can't go wrong with almost anything from Toque. I just got my bulk bag of chocolate, and some P-nut butter in tins. If you guys haven't checked out Wilson's of Sharrow snuffs, the Chocolate Orange is outstanding, along with the Blackberry Rum.
Tom at http://nicotinerush.com/ ships extremely fast in the US, and his selection seems to get better and better every week. 8)

I finally grabbed the tins of Wilson's Crumbs of Comfort and Fribourg & Treyer's High Dry Toast from home. They've been there for a while, since August of '08, but they still have a nice scent and 'flavor' to them. Not as strong as it once was, but still there. I wonder how long they last before they should be replaced... Oh well, they're still enjoyable right now.

Now if only my allergies didn't make my sinuses burn so much I'd be able to enjoy them more often.

                Another Toque fan!! Welcome.

And you must post after you have tried the Whiskey and Honey. I have the rest you ordered too, all good, but Whiskey and Honey is just extra special.

ShaulWolf, my newbie knowledge says that snuff will largely last forever, some degradation over time but still useable

A lot of the Toque snuffs strike me as being 1 dimensional. You get 1 flavor, and that's it. There's some notable exceptions, but as a whole I think that's true. There's nothing wrong with that, and they make great blenders, but for a total catalog, I prefer Samuel Gawith and Bernard.

I have tried some wilsons, I disliked all three I tried, still have SP to see if I can salvage something there. Have tried both FUBAR, and some American Scotch, will return to these when I have a whole bunch more experience.

I will continue to try new one's occasionally. But for me, nothing has come even close to the enjoyment get from Toque. Maybe when I am as crusty with snuff as i am with snus, that will have change. But for now, I am utterly and completely in love with it

I really enjoy the Toque Whiskey and Honey. Very favorable, good nic hit and I do get a taste of the honey flavor. I keep reaching for it!!! Wished I bought a 25 gram tin!!! Hat’s off to Roderick for outstanding snuffs, with many varieties.

Lxskllr is correct about the 1 dimensional flavor, but I did order a 25 gram of Toque Quit, so I will be experimenting with it on the other Toque flavors.

Not much of a menthol fan, but I ordered Packard's Club snuff. A very interesting snuff. It’s got three distinctive flavor’s. First menthol, a slight men’s cologne smell, and fruit. Very different, but good for opening up the sinus! Another good lasting flavor and scent is QWS (Quit With Snuff) Apricot. This has slight menthol hit, then fades to full Apricot flavor. Very long lasting. Thinking about ordering the Iris Coffee next time.

Not to fond of the Dholakia snuffs. Got samples of Lime and Lemony, Roasted Nuts, and Coconut Toffee. Very coarse grind, I have to take in small doses. Of the three, I do like the Coconut Toffee.

I too order from Nicotine Rush. Tom provides fast and sterling service. He is my go to for my snuff orders, besides Florida is practically right next door.

I really dig the QWS Irish Coffee. It must be artificially scented, but it's quite good. It has a very distinct coffee scent with just a touch of menthol. The menthol's very light, and I assume it's to give the impression of spirits in coffee.

I've tried almost all of the non menthol Toque snuffs and Spanish Gem is by far my favorite. WOS Apricot is pretty good too. I got a few of the Dholakia Blast & Wow samples and didn't really like any of them. Tom at NR sent me one of Lime & Lemony though a couple weeks ago and I thought it was pretty good. I ordered a few from the Temptation line.

I took my first "hit" of nasal snuff 5 days ago and all I can say is WOW! Really liking it so far. I've tried a variety of Scotch, Poschl, Toque and FUBAR snuffs.

Toque chocolate is what comes with me to work but I'm really staring to like the FUBAR Grunt. As expected, it was a bit too much at first, but as my sniffin skills improve it's becoming a favorite. Nice nic hit with a really good flavor. I look forward to trying more and expect this new habit will stick with me for some time. The menthols are nice and easy but not a regular for me...makes me snozz run like crazy. With the Toque, I can snuff for a few hours between clean-outs. That said, it did take about 2 days of regular snuffing before I could even "taste" the subtle flavors and nuances of the different snuffs.

Snuff, snus and a good lager...can life get better? I submit that it can not!

I'm just a couple of months ahead of you with the snuff. but I too am just in love. For me, at least, the two are a perfect combination. The snus regulates my bodies nicotine, and turn to snuff throughout the day when just want that little *extra* bump.

It too took me a week until i really started to taste, and it has been love ever since. I have about 10 that I absolutely adore now. A bullet typically lasts me two days, with a bit more used on any occasional day. Now, i make a point to always use some before I get on my bike. I love how the flavor mixes with the wind in my face

I just had to try this stuff out. Got some Wilson's Country Mint in my last order.
Followed all directions I could find here.
It was great for a little while.. Then I had to sneeze. I remembered to leave my mouth open when I did (something the doctor told me to do when I had nose surgery a couple of years ago) so nothing would come out my nose. Things settled back down, all was fine. Then I must have pulled something back into my throat. Woo. Not good. That kinda kills it for you.
While it lasted I did like it so I'll stick at it.
