    No!!

Don't do it like coke, VERY bad, will hurt your head.

You barely want to breathe it in your nose, you want the snuff just inside your nostril, NOT n your sinuses.

I have learned a trick that will help you not breathe it in too hard. Take a deep breath. Like you are holding a hit of pot (how I leaned this in fact). Then sniff while you are holding your breath. I guarantee you won't be able to sniff that hard that way.

As for bullets, they simply don't work for most people. Too late to think clearly but it sounds like you are dong it right.

But stop trying to use it. Open it up an pour a small amount, about the size of an apple seed to start on your hand. I pour onto the webbing between my thumb and forefinger, then I lift that hand to my nose and breathe easily.

Again, just want the snuff inside your nostril, no further.

If you haven't yet. Go to snuffhouse.org and check their how-to section. Some really good stuff there for newbies.

ah, thanks for the timely advise. I thought I was experiencing 'beginners head rush.' The bong rip method seems to work, again thanks.

If the bullet isn't defective, you should not have to squeeze it, but you should close/press the other nostril.

Personally, I don't like bullets. I like the back of the hand method best.

I have found, for me, I have to take just a small little amount, or I get all stopped up like I snorted some powdered glue.

I did a big sniff of McC O&G the other night, and was all stopped up, nose drip, lasted even the next day.

Stop using mentholated snuffs and you will never get stopped up from it no matter how much you use.

Sage, I wish that was true with me. It does help, but even with non menthol I get a similar reaction. I still think it may be season/allergy.

The menthol, from everything I have read, has some long standing effects even after you use it. I suspect, to really know, you need to stop for a few weeks.

Just if you do a lot of reading, everyone who never uses mentholated snuffs don't seem to have any issues with snuff clogging them up. I know, I have been using for 6 months and it has never been an issue.

HUGE issue with just about everyone who uses menthol.

Umm no!! Toque is the new kid on the block. A lot more like Discreet than General.

                    ah, ok.

i've really been enjoying toque, and mixing and matching to get some really cool results.

the only ones i haven't enjoyed are the menthol ones.

Didn't I send you a bunch of mentholated???

But I understand, reason I had a bunch of menthol to give away. tried it, disliked it, never again.

Wilsons of Sharrow is more like the General. Toque is more like the Skruf.

I think I might put Toque with V2. Toque, like V2 has been a big proponent of non-standard flavors, and both seriously use the internet as a distribution tool. I agree with the Wilson's. I'd say they're the "standard" name in snuff, but lack the monopoly Swedish Match has.

I think I'd call Dholakia more the V2, with all their sub brands and so many different flavors.

Definitely NOT V2. Toque has never had any bad snuff. Reason I compared them to Discreet. Very hands on, Tom has been much like Roderick was here, and word of mouth turning more and more people onto it. And the Toque flavors are as strong and yummy as Discreet.
