I'm loving the apricot. A local cigar shop has Orange and Raspberry Ozona, Ozona President (which I don't like much), and Gawith Apricot which rocks my socks.

My Toque should be in soon!

Snuff literally lasts me forever. I got rid of maybe half my snuff collection, but I still have more than would last me my lifetime. Also, I don't snuff all day like I snus, and when I do, it's small amounts, maybe like an apple seed, maybe 3 times a day.

So what Tom. That doesn't mean I still don't need every flavor <I like -NO menthol!!>

SnusoMatic understands, it's an illness.

I will say that I am good at using all I have, and have given away any I don't really like. Kinda makes it funnier as it would take me almost two months now to completely cycle through my collection once. Some I love extra much, and will use a bit more often, so really more like 3 months to completely cycle through.

EDIT, don't ask why the italics. Nothing formatted to make it happen

I'll still buy snuff, but I am moreso looking at it like a collector of rare and obscure items. So it's the more rare and hard to find snuffs I try to seek out.

It's easy to build up a large collection.

So instead of going through 26 pages of a thread, I will just ask some questions.

I am feeling a little under the weather, has anyone used "medicated" or super menthol snuff for congestion?

Anyone with nasal issues have problems with snuff? I have had a few surgeries and snuff doesn't do well in one nostril, while it is great in the other.

note: to date I have only tried the Toque samples and am interested in trying more.

Holy christ...I just saw that toque has a Cheese & Bacon flavored snuff, someone please chime in and tell me how it is.

Menthol just gives a temporary clearing feeling, it doesn't last so long. My right nostril is a little screwed up, and I have a bit of difficulty taking snuff in the right side. It does go in though, I just have to be more particular in how I sniff it.

Gawith Apricot was my first European snuff, and it was love at first sniff. I hadn't had any in almost a year, and just got some through trade(thanks Qor). It's as good as I remember, and I think it's one of my all time favorite snuffs. Some of that's nostalgia(from a year ago LoL), but it is an excellent snuff.

I think the nostalgia's due to Gawith Apricot being my springboard for snuff experimentation. Me and my buddy from work both got into snuff, and it was a lot of fun trying out all the different types :^)

                    Gentlemanly,
Don't do it! Cheese and Bacon was made as a bespoke snuff for a couple of customers as a joke and it completely backfired. Now it's our most popular snuff. What can I say. Have any of you seen the Toque road kill video on youtube, I think it's next.

I get more and more excited for my toque shipment to come in this week. I'm loving the Ozona and Gawith snuff I can get at my local cigar shop, but it does seem from these forums that Toque is the king of flavor.

Well darn Roderick, in my opinion, everything is better with bacon...but I'll take your word for it if you say it's no good.

With Thanksgiving coming up here in the states, let me know if you decide to make a Turkey, stuffing, or cranberry snuff!

One issue with mentholated. Yes, it may clear the nose at the moment. Followed by a nasty rebound that will clog you up the rest of the day. Very similar to other mentholated or otherwise medicated nose stuff.

Don't go there if that is a concern.

I only use non mentholated snuff, and have never had an issue with my nose using it. I am clear every day, all day.

VBSnus, I love Toque and will defend it to my dying breath, but I am not sure that is an accurate statement. What Toque is is a very modern snuff who's flavors are just more "direct" A criticism, and one that I don't think is completely unfair, is they are a bit one dimensional in taste, not as complex as some other snuffs are. Having recently started to use some F&T snuff, I do agree a bit.

But so what. What Toque DOES do is just so good, so yummy, I am as happy as a kitten in a catnip field using it. maybe I am just a modern guy when it comes to flavors, as I love the directness of most of Toque's snuffs. Still, I like the F&T as an additional plaything to mix it up a bit.

I think Toque is high quality snuff, and their price and shipping can't be beat. But like everything, some of their snuffs I think are great, some I didn't care too much for. That's just personal taste. I like thier "toasts", and their fruity menthols most. The Natural and Original are great too.

I find if I just take a small bit of menthol, or any snuff, and have a decent time before another, I won't get stuffy.

I've been intrigued since I read about the cheese and bacon. That's on my must try list. I almost put an order in this past weekend, but I've been short on money, so I held back. I'm not sure how much longer my will power will last though :^D
