lxskllr, It seems like just the other day you were patiently leading me down the snuff path, I appreciated your efforts, I really enjoy my snuff, it is amazing the mistakes one can make learning a new hobby, you gave me some straight up good advice, thanks!!!!

It's nice having people to talk to that share the same interests. I'm the only snuser I know, and I know one other snuffer that got into it the same time I did. It's more fun discovering this stuff with another person present, but the web is an acceptable substitute. The web has really been a great tool for bringing people together with common interests. 20 years ago we would have all been quietly using snus and snuff in isolation, and wondering what else is out there :^)

I read someplace that it actually started out as a "joke flavor", but they sell lots of it!

I just got my order and I am blown away by the FUBAR grunt. It is wonderful. Good hit of nic and the flavor is great. It reminds me of Tube Rose sweet, only much better.

I'm going to also order the FUBAR medic (menthol) one next.

I also really like the Spanish Gem. I will definately reorder both in a larger size.

I like the menthol (Toque) but see it more as an occasional use and think it will last quite some time.

The natural and original toque are also good but I don't think I'll make them regulars.

I just got it today (bullet) and it tasted like smoke and funk. I didn't say "Oh wow, Bacon!" at any point.
I just took another snuff of it to hone in the flavor and it doesn't have a specific "cooked pork" flavor as it does have more of a liquid smoke flavor and the cheese component smells like cheese sauce powder from a box of mac and cheese before it is mixed.
I don't like it myself and I'm glad I didn't order a larger can.

I'm glad I finally tried the European style snuffs. I actually prefer them to the American snuffs (but I'm still glad I got some rooster as my bonus snuff).

This thread is full of good info and I'd like to thank everyone who posted in this thread in helping me make some good decisions based on what I knew I liked from American snuffs.

I really shouldn't snuff at all. Well, maybe.... I like snuff, and I especially like the menthol snuffs, but it seems my body doesn't.

Anyway, I haven't bought snuff in a long while, but being an Indophile, I went on and splurged and got all 5 of the Sun Snuffs from India.

To menthol haters, I would not recommend them, as all are menthol but one, and that one, I didn't like, but I'll try it again sometime.

Having sampled all these menthols yesterday, as I just got them in the mail yesterday, I was rather quickly getting nasally stopped up. And today, the next day, I am still not free and clear.

But enough of my condition.
The Sun Snuffs I thought were really good, except that one, which was like super light bone dry baby powder that went right to the lung.
That was the Rangeeli.

The other 4 were very easy to snuff, and their menthol was more sublte coolness, and not a blast in the face. I liked these a lot. But I have to be very sparring in their use.

I think all of the FUBAR snuffs are very good. Grunt is my favorite. Mix it with some Rooster for a real treat

The FUBAR grunt is excellent. I highly reccomend it for its flavor and nic hit. It is definately a "harder" snuff to take but it is worth a try. I am ordering a 50g tin of it and a 10g of medic on my next order.

Rooster is very smoky and strong. It is good but its more of an occasional snuff for me, as are most American snuffs IMO. The only American snuff that I liked as an all dayer was the Tube Rose sweet. Very little smoke and a good nic hit.

I personally like the fubar because of the strength and lack of smoke. I feel it is the balance I always wanted in a snuff but couldn't find in all of the American snuffs I have tried.

Also, Spanish Gem is pretty good. Worth a try if you haven't.

My first snuff order finally arrived!!...I am in love with the Wow Coffee Bite and the Toque menthol.....I actually threw my Vicks inhaler in the trash...The Toque Menthol is actually more mentholated! I had heard that the Toque was much too strong for a new snuff user...I have to disagree,seems to be just right for me!(Lovin my Dholakia Swiss Chocolate also!) Big thanks to this forum and all the reviewers! The Wiz!
