Looking into trying FUBAR and Rooster, any suggestions?

Well the Rooster may be a challenge, but I really enjoy it from time to time, and it is pretty clear to me that I have only grown to really appreciate Grunt as a all time favorite of mine, I get a really satisfying hit and burn every time I sniff it, and I sniff it everyday! I have enjoyed it as much as any other, it has a lot to offer, get a small amount and try it, everyone is different, but it is a great quality tobacco, I just order more and more, I just do not want to be without some in my pocket. I feel lucky to have one that pleases, and I am very big on High Irish Toast/ HDT also, there are several interesting variations to explore.

I almost laugh cause it seems sometimes to get more traffic than the snus side. But snus kinda boring, going on three years, tried everything, other than helping newbies, not much I really need to talk about.

But snuff...still a bunch new.

But am spending the most time on my pipe forum now, that's ALL new to me!!!

Considering trying some of this snuff at some point. A couple questions as I've tried to scan through the thread but missed if these had been asked before or answered:

- Are these "bullets" re-usable meaning can be simply filled manually with a different flavor snuff OR do you have to replace some sort of cartridge or something and stay to 1 bullet per flavor/brand? Tried to look them up at Toque's site but the flavor specifics rather confused me.

- When referring to "taste" when describing the flavor/types, is this actual sensed through taste or just smell? If taste as in something in your mouth, then how does one actually get this sensation if you are supposed to just breathe it in more so than a strong inhale like down the throat and assuming regurgitate in your mouth? :?

:lol: Seriously, I just can't get a grasp on this stuff other than thinking nasty boogers and making me smell nothing but rasberry, mint, peach, coffee, whatever (insert flavor here) all day after use?

You can "reuse" the bullets. (At least the one I have). You mostly taste it through smell, but it doesn't last all day. Maybe 30 minutes at the most.

Do you snort it right out of the bullet or pour some out on that thumb/fore finger webbing and sniff like mentioned somewhere back in this thread?

Where do u get a re-usable bullet? All the one's I see on Toque's site are pre-flavored or some shit?

LaZeR, taste is connected intimately with smell. So you are "tasting" through the direct contact with the smell of the snuff.

*Most* people find bullets give you such a tiny dose, they don't work. Best advice for someone new. P{our a sample on the back of your hand, about the size of an apple seed to start.

Then sniff very gently. (Not like it is a line of coke :wink: ) You want to get it no further than the inside of your nose, NOT into your sinuses. One trick, if yuou struggle with breathing it in to hard (you will know if you do, feel ikt on your throat) Hold your breath like you are holding a hit of something else, then sniff. Just not possible to sniff too hard when you are already holding your breath.

Really, this is simply something you must try yourself to fully understand. order a few flavors that look good from Toque.

EDIT. I think he means you can reuse the bullets you get from Toque. I just ordered the glass and acrylic bullets available from Nicotine rush for like $3.75 or such. Again, I don't use as a bullet, but most convenient way to carry and pour.

Listen to wise ole' Sage. When I mean when I say reuseable, you can unscrew the lid and pour more into it. I don't take my snuff from the bullet, rather pour out what I want like Sage said.

Thanks sage. That clears things up a bit. I will just have to give this a try & just use a bullet for transport/storage. Makes sense now, pardon teh pun :lol:

Edit: :x I was going to just order one mini bullet to sample 1st to see if I like snuffing but I see there is a $16.58 minimum @ Toque? Any Newb -starter pack- suggestions :?:

Just order what looks interesting. SO much of Toque is amazingly good. I have my own favorites. Whiskey and Honey, Coke, Raspberry, Vanilla, Violet.

Just pick and choose. They do have a 10 sampler pack deal I think

Get the 10 pack sampler. Make SURE you get one of the Chocolate. It's so good! Trust me, I wanna say it was like 20 dollars at the most for the sampler, and it will last you months. If you end up not liking snufff, you can always exchange it here for snus.
