Qor, you are at least a week away before you will really taste the snuff as it is. similar to snus that way. Just need some time for your nose to adjust. Then suddenly, it's like everything tastes 1000% more. Pretty big changeover when it happened for me.

Got my Toque "10 for 9" today.Just tried the "coke".It's really,really good.Very easy to keep up front,which is strange,as I had a hard time keeping the "quit" from my throat.With the "coke" I could feel the weight of it when I sniffed,and could stop sniffing when it landed right in the nostrils.With the "quit",I have to be really cautious.BTW,I ordered it last Saturday night,just got it today (Saturday),not bad. :lol:Comment

Well, I must say I am enjoying menthols and flavors with menthol more than the non mentholated flavors.
Sagedil, I mixed 1 part of Toque Menthol with 1 part of the Dholakia Swiss Chocolate and it is amazing. Like an Andes Mint.
Right now I am enjoying that occasionally, but I have really taken a liking to McChrystals O&G. It has a very strong menthol scent, but it's really really smooth and refreshing.
I would like to try a floral scented nasal snuff, such as Toque Lavender and Toque Rose and see how I like them. If I enjoy the scent and need the menthol, I can always add a bit of Toque Menthol or possibly the McChrystals O&G. I have only mixed one thing in a black smash box because I like some of the scents of them on their own. But if I don't like a certain scent on its own I can always add in some menthol to perk it up.
How is the Toque Rose and Lavender?

That is pretty tasty. I have my Toque menthol blended with Toque vanilla, Wilsons vanilla, and a touch of Honey Bee. I never thought to put in the chocolate :^)Originally posted by Qor

The menthol gives you that cool crisp feeling when you sniff and it makes you breathe easier instead of feeling clogged. And for quite some time afterwards you can feel the icy freshness of it, mixed with the flavor if there is some.
But, everyone has the preference and opinion. That's what makes it so intriguing, similar to our snusing habits.

I think for 1st snuff users, the menthols are usually the faves, as they have a distict nose feel, with that menthol effect. But I think as one progresses with snuff, they later lean to prefer nonmenthol ones. Kinda like when one 1st trys snus, they may find the non sweet high flavor bland or not good, but gradually come to prefer them.Comment

I was just the opposite. As a newby, I hated the menthols.
LordJ, I am glad you got the snuff. I agree, the Coke is very wet and heavy. Probably makes an ideal snuff for a newer person. I just tried it last week and really like it so far.Comment

I despise anything menthol,too.That being said,I did order some Poschl Apricot just to see what all the hoopla was about and,sure enough,I hate it.I guess you need a very good nose to detect any fruit or anything else for that matter beneath all the menthol nastiness.Full disclosure:My nose may not be the best judge as I used to put other things besides tobacco in it,but that was a long time ago.Comment

i must be doing something wrong here but i took a nice sniff of toque toffee (i like this one a lot) but it all went in and hit the back of my through like a brick i have been takeing a qtip and dipping in the nose snuff and shiffing it from there may be thats why it went to my throught but i really do like this nose snuff :!: thanks again to the very awesome nice guy that sent it my way :PComment
