Thank you for the bullet review!! I am looking at soon changing what I have been using. The acrylic and glass bullets are nice, but don't last. I had *almost* bought the new one for $20 last order, but chickened out. But I do have to make a change, and these would most definitely work for me.

And oh, whiskey and Honey still my favorite, but coke making a mad dash to try and get in front. Still not sure yet who will win in the end.

      Nice!

I would recommend the one I got, because, well.. I got it and can tell you how much I love it. I was going to order the 20$ Posh one, but I saw some bad reviews on it in regards to getting clogged and you need a screwdriver to open it. This one just twists off in about 5 turns with your fingers.

I do hope you get one and let me know what you think.

Primarily, I just use it to hold. so yeah, the open with screwdriver was an issue. I don't even need it to work as a bullet, but it is a nice bonus if it does

C'mon guys, I wanna unload my unwanted snuff, see my list at the snus exchange, I'll even take 1 can of snus for 2 snuffs now. I know someone has to have some cans of Offroad original portions, or something they don't want.

Well guys, I had to lay off the snuff until my nose cleared up. I layed back into them today, but no Menthol's, nose is happy that way now. I had a delicious hit of Lotzbeck Vanilla, I know some consider it so so, but it is my first snuff to really satisfy. I got a bunch of She Cherry, Naked, and a really good WOW coffee bites. Just ordered some Quit and SP extra, along with some Spanish Gem. I seem to get by with the finger rub and sniff method best.

I really like menthols, but I have to be easy on them, actually I have to be easy on all snuffs lately, maybe it's the season, but I can get totally stopped up if I partake too much.

That Wow! Coffee Bite is great IMO. The She Cherry Menthol, I suspect is the same as the Rockit Cherry Pop, and it is very good too. I also liked that Rockit Naked alot. And that Toque Quit is great too. I also really like the Fubar Grunt, and the Dholakia Sparrows.

                    Pöschl Regional Differences

I recently got a tin of Gletscher Prise through a private trade(Thanks a lot Tom502:^)), and it's different than what I had before. My previous tin came from England, and it favored the Columbia oil as the dominant scent. The newest tin was originally bought from a American supplier, and it's softer, with more sweetness. I /think/ I prefer the American version, but I'm not sure yet.

I had the same experience with some Packard's Club. My first tin came from England(one of the last tins available there, Pöschl quit selling to the UK market), and it had the subtle scent of men's cologne, with a bit of fruit in the back. I later got some that was packaged for America, and the fruit was gone, and the men's cologne scent ramped up.

I find it interesting that they would change snuff scents for different markets. This may also explain the General flavor discrepancy between different styles. SM may have done market research that showed people who use the various products have differing tastes regarding flavor profile. Not a big deal either way, but I find it interesting.

This phenomena came up on the Snuffhouse forum, and if I remember, one answer that made some sense to me, was that different tobacco harvests were not always the same, thus resulting in different tastes, of different batches, of the "same" snuff. I wonder if anyone has noticed any differences in Swedish snus, of the same brand/type?

I like the Lotzbeck Vanilla...I consider it a "hidden gem" of the snuff world. :P Looks like you picked a few good ones...that She Cherry is just right with the little bit of menthol in it, and I just got some of the WOW coffee bites and WOW is the only word to describe that one! You might also like Quit With Snuff's Irish Coffee...slightly milder coffee scent but with a little creaminess to it. Hard to explain, but it's good.

Edit: Hey, where'd my avatar go?

                          WOW!

It's like grinding up fresh coffee beans and inhaling them. It has a stronger coffee scent than the QWS Irish Coffee. I'm going to have to combine a little of the Wow with some of the Lotzbeck vanilla. Seems like that would be a good combo

That sounds good. I'll have to give it a try on my next snuff order.

Well that sounded so good to me that I am sitting here with a wry grin and a snozzola full of WoW coffee and Lotzbeck vanilla. A great combo (my first blend) and it is very good, a desert style sniff. Let me know what you think, these two marry well, you have that great coffee, dark vanilla, and maple syrup together. So smooth and no burn, now what happens if you add the swiss chocolate? This will get out of control!

So, I went ahead and got a few more varieties. And let me just state for the record, that the taste testing that goes on with nasal snuff is far more chaotic than that of snus! So many to choose from!

Anyways, here is my reviews of my order that arrived yesterday.

Toque Peanut Butter - Medium grind, moist, with a nice peanut butter scent to it. Not overwhelming, but pleasant. This can be an all day snuff to most who enjoy peanut butter. I am still picking up the scent on this one, but it has a good base with hints of the peanut butter layered through. Good for a nice occasional snuff for me.

Toque Quit - I found my go to snuff. Nice medium to fine grind, moist, and easy to take. I had been using Toque Original primarily, with its rich bergamot scent. However, the Toque Quit is just a nice smooth natural tobacco flavor with a nice burn to it that isn't overpowering. I enjoy (Not sure if I am alone in this.) a good decent smooth burn (Toasts tend to give the sharp burn, as do certain menthols), and this delivers on the smooth side. It lets you know that you had a good sniff, and the effects of it work rather remarkably. It is very relaxing, and goes well with Lucky Strike and Retro snus. A perfect combination in my opinion.

McChrystals Hopfen Schnupf - Straight to the point, this is a beer (hops) flavored snuff. It has the same color and grind of the McChrystals O&G, but no menthol of course. It has the sharp taste of a fine hoppy beer. Very nice, but better for an occasional snuff. I bet this will taste great with some good rich pilsner from the tap.

Wilsons Queens Extra Strong - Similar medium brown and grind of the McChrystals. This snuff has a very sweet and pungent aroma with the mingling of various scents which include bergamot, citrus, and just a dab of lavender. It tends to be too sweet for an all day snuff for my tastes, but definitely not as sweet as the Toque perfume style snuffs such as Rose, Lavender, and Violet. It is very easy to take and semi moist.

All in all, I see myself still dabbling in multiple snuffs throughout the day, but my mainstays seem to be Toque Quit, Original and if I am in the mood for a menthol snuff I go to the McChrystals O&G. Nasal snuff is quite the adventure so far, and I am really enjoying the relaxing benefit it gives in combination with snus. I am still primarily a snuser and always will be, but the occasional snuff does add a very nice and relaxing aspect to it all.
