mlkramer, I still think you did it the right way. Early on, I tried all over the place, but just kept finding i only really liked the Toque. But that made me even more fierce in my loyalty as I had tried others, I knew exactly why I liked Toque so much.

I would suggest, eventually, you give some F&T a try. Finally, the only "other" I really like too.

Yea..I saw that re: F&T in and earlier post and almost ordered today. I held off for now, but will keep it on the list. I looked at what I spent in snuss and snuff in the last 6 weeks and grabbed my chest in pain LOL. Of course I waited until after I placed one more order of each before I looked. I may be as addicted to having something on its way as I am to the nic :wink:

And I agree about trying em all. I'm the type of personality, that if I hadn't tried, I'd always wonder what I'm missing. I'm now satisfied I'm on the right track so it's time to indulge and enjoy for a while.

A hearty thanks to You and all the gang here as well BTW. I'm sure the road would have been much longer and bumpier without all the input. Now I'm gonna hit the pedal and floor it!

Ok... New problem. My 2 latest pleasures are snuff and loose snus. Heres the issue..I make a great pris, enjoying the hell out of it. Then I of course need to top that off with I nice hit of snuff...a few minutes later, as these things happen...I need to toot my schnozzola. This then smashes my beautiful pris. Guess I need some sort of a pris shield. Hmmmm, perhaps that explains all the facial hair here?

Obviously, I should just go to bed now.

ive encountered this also. sometimes if my pris gets just effed up enough to bother me, ill just spit it out and make a new one. i dont feel as guilty "wasting" loose as portions because theres so much more in a can.

And as you may recall, I'm mostly on the same page with you. I like to mangle the crap out of my portions to extract the last nectar of goodness.

I've just found I enjoy a loose 2-4 times a day as well. Maybe it's the change of pace, flavor, texture or just the act of doing something...but I enjoy it.

Just need to be careful that some night while drinking...I don't sniff my snus and pris my snuff. (I feel a rap song coming on)

Latest Order Reviews

F&T High Dry Toast - This is mighty nice. The smell is nutty, but not really smokey like most toasts I have seen. It is dry and fine and has a nice blonde color. It also has a bit of moisture in it which is different from the other toasts I have used. There is no bbq scent in it which is a nice change of pace, and it is smooth if you respect the way you take toasts. It does offer a pleasant burn if used properly with a nice relaxing nic hit. I found mixing this with Toque Whiskey & Honey to be amazing.

F&T Dr J R Justice - Perfumed slightly with a flowery essence. Very smooth to take and again a pleasant burn. This is a 50/50 mix of their Bordeaux and Morlaix brands I believe. It definitely has refreshing scent and I can see myself using this as a change of pace snuff.

Wilson's Thyme and Lemon - Well, it's hard to say exactly. Take some thyme and some lemon zest, add tobacco and you have this snuff. Definitely different! One thing is for sure, I had a sniff of this while having some lemonade, and that was pretty nice.

Wilson's Rosemary - This is definitely the most peculiar of them all. That being said, I think it's my favorite of the bunch. Does it smell like Rosemary? Slightly. But have you ever been in the garden department of a Home Depot or Wal Mart? That smell of fresh foliage and top soil that has been freshly watered? That is this scent almost exactly for me. It almost smells like a fresh soil that has been rained on recently. No, not a dirt scent, but almost garden like. I really enjoy it as I like the way those areas of the stores smell. Very light burn which allows for a very nice size pinch. It's a medium brown and semi moist. I would definitely recommend others to try this out.

All in all, I am impressed with the F&T's again, although Old Paris and Santo Domingo still are the best of the line for the ones I've tried. Wilson's have been hit or miss. But I think I have found my favorite of the Wilson's I have tried so far in the Rosemary.

Nice reviews. F&T(Wilson's) makes top quality snuff. Some of them are almost too perfumy for me, but so far all the ones I've had have stopped short of being cloying. My 2 favorite F&Ts are HDT and Santo Domingo. The Santo Domingo's very unique, and I haven't had anything else like it from other companies.

I too am loving the two F&T snuffs I have, Old Paris and Morocco. As soon as I am situated and can purchase anything again, Santo Domingo and a few other F&T are on my list. Then I think I will take a6 -9 month sabbatical from purchasing any more snuff. Need to just use what I have, but really want to include a few more F&T before I do.
