I think Toque Quit is great. It's sorta like the Natural, and maybe Original, but a darker heavier blend, or it seemed like that to me.

I have found Toque Quit to be my only really disappointing one, it has a dirt smell that just does not work for me. I have found FUBAR Grunt to be my go to snuff now, after 10 grams used, I have found it to be my must have daily.

I use over 40 different snuffs now, all of the Toques, and really enjoy mixing it up. If you like a strong snuff with a great nicotine hit try the Grunt, great tobacco taste with a hint of coconut, easy to take but packs a punch!

Grunt sounds like A win especially when talking coconut flavors that sounds great!

I didn't read the entire thing (because I'm lazy) But I used to dip into snuff in my younger years. And an old Englishman gave me this tip that might be nice for someone new and old, goes a little something like:

Your nostrils switch ever few hours. you can tell by if you plug one up and breath in one as more air flow in. I (he) normally sniff into the inactive one until it switches and then when it does switch I do it on the other inactive nostril.

(He [and I] are big fast hitters with snuff, none of the easy breath in gently crap. So if you hit it big time with the inactive nostril you don't get as much of a back throat burn)

LOL welcome. Just remember they switch about every 4 hours or so! Don't take a huge hit on an active nostril or you'll feel the burn!

eventually now you know this, you'll be able to time your nostrils! lol maaaaggggiiiicccc!

That is so funny, because I've noticed this (the nostril switching thing) about my nose all my life, but I just figured there was something wrong with me. Although this doesn't mean there isn't; the thing that really gets me is when I roll over in bed, the "upper" nostril will gradually clear while the "lower" nostril slowly, um, unclears as everything up in my sinuses (I guess) drains down. Annoying, but been a feature of me for about as long as I can remember.

As far when I'm awake, I never put it together as "nostril switching", just wondered why both couldn't be nice and clear at once all the time, "the way they should be".

I probably do have something chronically wrong with my sinuses, but it ain't too bad.

Anyway, got a couple of snuffs coming from northerner this week sometime (I hope), so thanks for the cool tip.

Anyone ever try the NTSU Black nasal snuff? Sounds pretty damn strong, but you need to let it air out first because of the ammonia smell due to the freshness. The several reviews I have read over at Nicotinerush all show that the nicotine rating is "Huge" and it sounds a bit rough to take even though it is a coarse snuff.

Another thing that concerns me, and this is just possibly because it's from South Africa and they use Zulu language on the tin except for the warning, but it says "Causes cancer", not "May Cause Cancer", etc. But this could be that it's a bit off the beaten path as far as the standardized warnings.

Anyways, here is the link to it on Nicotinerush. And below that I have posted two of the reviews. It looks pretty hefty.

                      http://nicotinerush.com/ntsu-53/ntsu-black-14g-664.html

When I first recieved this snuff I approached it with some trepidation. However, I was already accustomed to the Taxi snuffs and the style of this snuff was not unlike those. The first thing everyone seems to notice is the incredible pungency of ammonia when first opened. Letting it air for awhile and stirring it a few times should help to disperse that. Everyone trying this once will be sure to hate it. Everyone brave enough to go back a second time, will learn to appreciate this for what it is. There really is no perceptible flavor other than the ammonia and a bit of "barnyard". I would reccomend not actually sniffing this, as you will have to have an immense wind to budge it and secondly you may knock yourself unconscious with the ammonia fumes. Simply take a pinch and push it in. It holds itself together well, so that should be easy. Take two or three for each nostril. Then make sure you don't have anything important to do for the next ten minutes. The nictotine buzz you will get from this will keep you in your seat for awhile. Taking any more might make you want to lay down for a good half hour. I'm pretty nicotine tolerant and I have to be careful with this one. I suspect that the ammonia is more than just a byproduct in this snuff's case. There is likely an alkalizing agent of some kind at work here. Some have suggested that this is actually an oral snuff, but having talked to South Africans I do not beleive that to be the case since oral snuff use is not as common there. I did try this orally, just to see, but it wasn't very good that way. For the record, the words on the tin: "Ugwayi" is Zulu for "tobacco" and "NTSU" is Zulu for "Eagle." It made me feel like I was flying high, so "Eagle" seems to suit it.
My first review being the first for NTSU. Kind of fitting I think. This is a plain tobacco scent.First impression after opening the container was YUCK! Ammonia liked to have knocked me out. Very moist, almost wet. I dumped the whole can in a large bowl and let it air and dry out. After aging this has a nice basic tobacco scent. Very high nicotine. I am a chain snusser, with a high nicotine tolerance. There have been three snuffs that I notice the nicotine. This one, Taxi Red and Dholakia Black. Not easy to find, but worth the trouble.
If anyone on here has any experience with this nasal snuff, please share!

                      Thanks,

                      -Qor

I have some NTSU, I'm really not a fan. It's grind, comes moist, and dried out, it's like a dried out fine cut dip. It's not "bad". All South African tobacco snuffs say "Causes Cancer". I think Taxi is better, and Magnet better than Taxi.

I haven't done much scrounging around. But do you know where you can buy Taxi and Magnet online?

I really want to get one of those German snuff machines. You know the ones that launch snuff up your nose. Anybody have one? Anybody do any research on buying one? I've found one site that sells a couple, but it's hard searching through German sites even with google translate.

Anybody in Germany want to help me get one?
