    Got ya, thanks.

I was wondering about the steam cured just from a health aspect. From what I've read, if I'm already using snus, then snuff should be fine.

I just ordered the 9 for 10 sample pack from Toque and went with these:

    Absinthe
    Bourbon
    Champagne
    Coke
    Espresso
    Natural
    Original
    Pomegranate
    Spanish Gem
    Whisky & Honey

Can't wait to pop my snuff cherry.

I know it sounds strange, but the Toque Lavender, while being a floral, is made from the same base tobacco as the SP extra, and has a good amount of nicotine, while being easy to take. I would give it a consideration.

It just seemed like too simple of an idea...didn't think it would work as well as it does.

Ok, random, but it fit in the thread, soooooo
Glad to hear about your Blends! I still enjoy the vanilla coffee mix, I make a Vanilla rooster that is good. The peach scotch is a weird peach, ment for oral dipping, not so good in the nose. And my first official snuff in my nose was the Peach Scotch, I snorted too much too hard and just about lost my mind, I have never tried it again after that inglorious start!!! Enjoy.

Actually, *all* of the Toque florals were really really nice, I thought.

Out of curiosity, has anyone gotten Christmas Pudding yet? I've been meaning to place an order and try it. but just haven't gotten around to it....

D'oh, knew I had another one I wanted to try...the Vanilla/Rooster blend! Did you use the Lotzbeck vanilla since that's a little more pronounced than the Toque vanilla?

The peach/peach really was good...used quite a bit of that the past couple of days

Haven't tried any of their florals after trying a few other brands florals that made me feel like I'd snorted a bottle of perfume, yuck. The only one so far that I did like was the Wilson's Rose. Much more into the fruity/vanilla/coffee snuffs it seems. Although, Bigbuyer did turn me on to the Toque Coke and a few others that I regularly use now, including some type of blend that tastes/smells like mango, mmmmm...awesome stuff!

This is Tom's blend from Nicotinerush- 1 gram Lotzbeck Vanilla to 4 grams Rooster. As you know Sheilalynn, that Lotzbecks is a great and special dark vanilla. It just tames that old Rooster down, I made a bunch and just keep shoveling it in, It is great!! Smokey vanilla, with that stand up and salute nic hit, takes the burn way down, a win win. Let me know what you think, and thanks to Tom, It would have taken a while for me to think of these two in combo, if at all. Now if I could just find a blend for the Dholakia white!

The Toque Lavender is such a strong Tobacco base that it makes the floral stand in the background and just enhances the take. A real pleasant, but strong presence in the nose, a major note. Not a wimpy perfumey one at all, it is more like a Whoa I like that one!!! Thats what I have heard from several who have tried it.

Oh yes, Lotzbecks is the best vanilla out there imo...must find an empty smash box and mix some of that up ;-)

*quickly running to get the Rooster and Lotzbecks...putting on Mad Scientist look....*

Ok...that blend seemed a little rough to me, but when I changed it to 4 parts Rooster, 2 parts Lotzbeck Vanilla, and 2 parts Toque Vanilla, it changed into a very smooth little blend. Guess I just can't handle Rooster mixes unless they're only half of the blend or less :P

                          Rooster+Vanilla=Win 8)

To each his (or her ) own! Do you still get the Rooster BBQ at that mix level? THe blend I have just pushes all kinds of pleasure buttons, and is not Cloying at all. Enjoy!

P.S. Sometimes they need to marry for a bit, it develops in time.

Nice mix...I really like the Pomegranate myself. I'd go just a little easy the first time out with the Absinthe and Whiskey & Honey...Absinthe is a little strong tasting and Whiskey & Honey is a little finer and dryer than most Toques.

Oh yes, still get the bbq but it's a little more subdued is all. Tasted good to me and still gave a good amount of that Vitamin N!
