Got my Toque 10 for 9 sampler yesterday. Here's what I received:
Natural
Original
Menthol
Blueberry
Espresso
Coke
Spanish Gem
SP Extra
Quit
St. Clements
So far, I've discovered I really enjoy the Menthol. It's almost like a powdered, nicotined version of Vicks. The only snuff I've had before this was Whisky & Honey and I'm pleasantly surprised that many of these seem easier to take than that one. I always had a problem with W&H hitting the back of my throat, but it seems many of the varieties in my sampler are moister, so I don't have that problem as much.
One question, though. Some of them, such as Coke, seem to have a much stronger ammonia scent than others. I gather this is linked to freshness, but I've read of people letting their snuff air out so that the aroma of the snuff can overcome the ammonia. How long do the tins need to air out before the ammonia scent starts to fade?

The Whiskey and Honey is more like a toast, and harder to take easily, but is still a favorite of mine! I find that an hour of fresh air seems to work out most ammonia, and then the constant opening and closing works out the rest, but, it seems that each one has a mind of its own, the Spanish Gem does not air out well, takes a while, good luck with that.wiki "Popcorn Sutton" a true COOT!
