Damnit, no wonder I've had a migraine for the last three days. I figured my back was out of whack. Any artificial sweeteners give me horrible migraines.
I hate America's "you don't have to tell us what's in the product" policy. No offense Tom, I'm glad you said so on the forums at least!
You buy rolls of snus bags, available in 3 different sizes (mini, regular, maxi).
Is this hypothetical or where do we get these? I just ordered a hundred of the heat sealable tea bags for $5. Where can i find a heat sealer for $20? I was planing on trying it out with my soldering gun.
...and 1 45g can of los would make about 4 1/2 cans of minis.
Hmmm..... I took my RL Los out of the freezer, and cut open one of these coffee singles bags. The bag/material has a strong coffee smell... not sure how that will be. But I'll try it later tonight after the Los warms up room temp.

I've been using Lipton tea bags, $2.98 for 100 bags at wally world, which work very well. I cut each bag into 8 sheets. That's 800 portions per box.
But I agree with you. Just give me pre-cut sheets in different sizes. There is no need for self sealing bags, as I've never had a problem with them falling apart. Use the ice tool to measure it, 1 click for a mini, 2 for a regular. Takes about as much time to do as a RYO cigarette.
thank you stubby2
For now (until/unless we find them just in simple sheet form) this seems much more do-able than my trying to randomly butcher a round coffee filter (I've got my first Lipton tea bag mini snus going right now)
granted, I still have to pluck a tiny staple out and then get the tea out (which is set aside in a re-usable cloth tea bag waiting for me to make it), but while its awfully early to say (since I'm only a few minutes on my first and only nus made this way), but so far this is better.
Also in addition to the Lipton Tea in its bags, I happen to have on hand generic store brand (in my area thats "Meijer" brand) tea which I've inspected and appears to be made the same way as the Lipton (which would be even cheaper then).
Don't use stuff like "Folgers Coffee Singles" since they are made completely differently (you get a fraction of the paper on them and they are heat sealed)
get the ones like this Lipton or store brand that have a whole bunch of the paper folded up and stapled.
Since I'm trying to make minis, I've mapped out and cut 12 squares worth for use out of one Lipton tea bag, first one seems good, will see how it goes with the rest.
I was searching through some old post about nasal snuff as I have a revived interest. Had laid off the snuff for the last 2 1/2 years because of sinus issues, but doing the sinus cleaning has cleared that up. Found my stash of snuff while cleaning out some boxes. Gave it another go and I'm back on the snuff train.
Ran across this tread buried in the nasal snuff section and was wondering what progress Toque has made with the bag thing. I know they mentioned coming out with snus sometime in late 2012 or 2013.
We're still working on this. We've got the snuff,we've got the tins, we've got a few good flavour ideas, it's just the legal minefield we have to clear that is holding us up.
