Spirit, glad to hear you like it. The nic bump will not be noticeable right away and depending on how much you snus, may not do much more than a slight bump. BUT, be careful it's cumulative. 4 or 5 pinches will get you, but you may not notice until it's too late....

It also hits differently. For me, at least, it is more of a body thing.

Glad you are liking. I'll cross your nym off my list.

For me, it seems to be a more relaxing effect, where on the other hand snus tends to jack me up a bit.

        Definitely very different, yet enjoyable.

Actually have my first order from Toque on it's way after I read that you can actually wet a toothpick and use it orally on that. So of course I went after my favorite flavors at Starbucks...espresso, chocolate, vanilla, and raspberry

I don't think the nic-effect is the same with snuff and snus, or dip and chew, at all. Snuff gives a different kind of kick. It can give an effect, but the effect is different feeling than oral tobacco. I like the experience and effect of snuff. But it's totally different than snus/dip/chew, but then cigg smoking is totally different too.

Since I have the tins and bullets side by side next to my laptop, let me say from recent experience that Toque is being overratred here, and Dholakia is being underrated. The Toque Espresso is like yesterday's flat coffee compared to Wow Coffee Bites from Dholakia. And Dholakia's Swiss Chocolate is absolutely the world's best chocolate flavor.

I'm finished trying Toque and haven't found one that will be a regular in my rotation. I'm still trying Dholakia, and haven't found one I haven't liked. And for a beginner, Dholakia is easily the best choice.

Each to his own tastes, with snuff as well as snus.

Oh I agree. While I do think Toque is a quality company, over all, I like Dholakia more. Some Dholakia snuffs I like less than others, but yes, the Wow! Coffee Bite is excellent, and their made QWS Smokers Blend, and Irish Coffee are excellent too. Of course the Swiss Chocolate is awesome, and their Temptation Orange Chocolate is great too. I also like the traditional Indian styles with Sparrow plain, and Sparrow Cool, Kamal, Manjul and Ganga. Their Medicated is good, as is the Aniseed menthol. All very good quality snuffs. I didn't like QWS Jasmine, as it seemed to have a bad aftertaste that wouldn't go away, and I was very disappointed with the Temptation Minty Vanilla, as it was devoid of any mint, but I added in some McC Supermint, and it's better now.

My favorite Toques right now are Blueberry and Pomegranate.
It took a few days, but the scent of pomegranate suddenly turned from ok to WOW!

What an interesting read about tobacco in general and the history of the plant itself and snuff.
