    Mint snuff with nicotine...

Just a thought, I posted on another forum, it makes perfect sense to me. A perfect solution to 99% of concerns over tobacco.
Why not all mint snuff with nicotine? Seriously, what a perfect product for millions. I doubt it exists. Someone should invent it.

Actually, you could invent it in your house.

Buy some fresh mint leaves, cure them, and use e-cig drops.

Experiment with different flavorings as well.

    I might try this.

You could've kept that idea to yourself

You're back to the problem of a nicotine delivery device. Since nicotine has to be added, I imagine it would have to go through pharmaceutical testing like other OTC drugs. Not an inexpensive proposition.

You hit the nail on the head. The FDA would have to approve it in order for it to be sold commercially, as far as my understanding is.

I would be happy to take nicotine without tobacco- only problem is that gums and patches clearly aren't effective enough for most people.

The reason is pretty simple- dose control and mouth feel. So indeed, your idea, which I'm somewhat jealous of, is great.

Secondarily, it's great because you could make the snuff out of anything delicious and add nicotine. I vote coconut(which I've already used as "dip" cause it's tasty )

I'm a bit of a purist; I prefer my nicotine in tobacco. I just like the taste of tobacco.....smoked, snuffed or snussed.

There's actually a product called "Blue What" that is made from herbs with nicotine added to it.

Yeah, but it was never marketed, probably for the reasons named above, and their website is now dead
