Recommend a snuff for a noob

I have a 10 tin sampler from Toque coming, but there's no telling when I'll get it. I'm on Mr. snuff right now and I've got to two 99 cent products in my cart. Does anyone else have any recommendations?

It's hard to say. I like menthol snuffs. But not all the time. Not sure what he has for 99 cents right now. But I like the Fubars, I like the Rockits, I like the Poschls. It's kinda like snus, you just have to try some. Everyone's taste is different. For a more pure tobacco, I think Toque Natural is good, Dholakia Sparrow, QWS Smokers Blend. For a "Toast" style, Toque's Whisky & Honey, Toast & Marmalade, and Bourbon, and F&T Dry High Toast are good, Wilsons has some too. Wilsons has a very large amount of various snuffs. The "SP" is a popular snuff style, Toque Original fits that. If you have 10 on the way from Toque, you might wanna wait. But I say just pick what you think you might like, also a good site is snuffreviews.com that has reviews of snuffs.

I got the Poschls sampler, and some kind of Irish coffee that was 99 cents.

Well in my nubi rush to try snuffs, I managed to just about destroy my sinus with Peach Scotch, then really mess them up with a Poschl's sampler!
I hope you can tolerate the menthol, it took me a week and a half to rehabilitate my sinus after that kind of abuse. Was a miserable time, I was sure that my body was rejecting all snuffs. Turns out just the Poschls were giving me fits. I have not sniffed any of them in two months, and I am snuffing just fine now.

Ohh that's kinda scary. I'll go slow.

I can only speak for myself, but based on my snuff experience, I really recommend not going hog wild, or like a coke fiend with them. It takes a little practice to get the snuff method down, but even then, take a small snuff, both sides, and wait an hour or so before doing it again. When I 1st got into snuff, I think I was doing it too much, which at 1st was fine, but after a few weeks, or month or so, it seemed to turn on me, and I was miserable, stopped up, using nasal sprays. Now I am easing back into it, as I was just about stopped snuffing because of this. Many say the menthols can have worse effect, but I do like that cooling hit, but now, I just snuff every so often, because I do not want it to get like it did with me before.

I don't plan to go hog wild. Nice and slow. Mainly when I drink, I have to have a cigarette with the first beer, or it just tastes weird. After that, do some snuff, and pop in a sterk. Should be good to go!

Vegan, just wait for the Toque.

Most important thing you need to know before you just start buying everything, do you even like menthol. Many people don't, I hate it. When I first went crazy, ended up with a bunch I just disliked, dumped them all on Chad eventually.

If you don't go for the menthol, there are then certain brands to just stay away from as they are all mentholated

I like menthol, but I want non menthol as well. Is the Poschl sampler all menthol? It had flavors like cherry and orange.

Yes, the Poschls are menthol. I think they are great.

The Pöschls are easy to take imo. They have a couple with some kick, but the menthol's usually pretty mellow. Pöschl makes the kids snuff. Sweet, not complicated, but tasty on a basic level. Bernard is the German company for adults. Their snuff is also tasty, and it can be sweet, but it's more complicated, with a "grown up" taste.

I tried the Bernard Brasil and am in love!!! Different from any other snuff I have had, different type of flavor. Mellow, but complex.

As soon as money is sorted, making one last huge snuff order, every F&T I haven't tried and every Bernard that looks interesting.

Bernard huh. I'll have to remember that name. Since I'm just starting out, I need the "kid stuff'. Give me some more time, and I'll be ready for the "adult"! 8)
