Toque Menthol


I tried Blueberry Menthol last night and got nothing out of it -- no blueberry, no menthol;
of course I had no idea what I was doing -- plus I'm a nasal wuss.

This morning I tried the Cheese & Bacon... not much luck there either -- just got hungry.

Following Roderick's instructions somewhat

Poschl snuffs are full of paraffin oil and this makes them very heavy and very easy for beginners to take. English snuffs are 100% natural tobacco and very light but, once mastered are no problem.

Try a wet pinch as this adds weight and helps keep the snuff in the front of the nose. Lick/wet your finger and thumb take a big pinch, let it warm a little and gently place it, rather than sniff it, on either side of the septum. This method works every time. Works really well for beginners and helps reduce sneezing and stops snuff from reaching the back of the throat.

With time you will learn to breathe out while sniffing in. I know it sounds impossible but, that’s the best way of describing the perfect snuff technique.

I did straight Menthol this afternoon and got hungry again BUT I also could feel the Menthol kicking in.

Later, I'm gonna try the Cheese & Bacon again and see what happens.


btw, the menthol kicked in but has so far had no effect in opening my sinuses;
next time I think I'll try adding more snuff since this dose didn't knock me on my ass.

Dean Swift Raspberry

Pulled an old tin of Dean Swift out the back of the snuff closet today. It was ok, but nothing startling. Bit dried out. McChrystal's raspberry still wins imho. I like the flavor a little better in Toque but prefer the grind of McChystals.

You Go Getter!!! Just keep on trying... I do think we need a video of how to on this... It would make it so much easier... hell they have it for hand baking Loose Snus, How to use an icetool... Anyway I also Followed Roderick's instructions somewhat and glad i was doing this in front of A mirror when I lick/wet my finger and placed it. It looked like I sniffed dog poop, It was all on the outside of my nose too and if I had no mirror i would be walking around like that... I did take a platic spoon and made myself a ghetto snuffing tool by breaking off the handle that has a little scoop so I could take a small pinch with it and place by my nose and sniff, Worked pretty well...
