That is exactly why I started using snuff. It was the thing that finally killed cigs for me. I couldn't get lower than 2-3 a day, snuff changed that. Now if I want the smell of burning tobacco I'll fire up one of my pipes. Even that hasn't been so often anymore.

I thought QWS Sandalwood was like guinea pig bedding wood shreds. I didn't like it.

I took a bump of the sandalwood, it was pretty good, I dumped a bunch of snuff in there as there's no way I will ever get through it, and I'm reaching for the Toque's less and less. I just prefer the moister Poschls I have.

If you like the Poschls, I think you'd also like the Rockits, and the whole QWS line, and the Blast, Wow, and Temptation lines, though those are non menthol, except Strong Menthol and Cherry Menthol.

I've got QWS Irish Coffee, and I love it. I'll have to check the other ones out you listed. I heard Bernards is a good moist snuff as well.

I really like Poschl too. What is it about these that is similar? Are they all Dholakia brands?

I don't think I'd so much say they are similar, but they are, IMO, "easy" snuffs, in that they have a bigger grind and moister content, and good upfront flavors.

Oh, they are made by Dholakia.

Well, I think all 3 of the Rockits are good. My fave Blast is Whisky Honey, my fave Wow! is Coffee Bite, and my fave Temptation is Orange Chocolate. QWS smokers blend is great IMO, and their Irish Coffee is very good. I did not care for the Jasmine or Sandalwood. They have an Ice Cool, which makes me think it may be the same as Rockit Ice Cool, but maybe not, but it's good.

So far I am leaning toward non citrus sweets and non citrus menthols. The coffees sound pretty good and I'm really looking forward to trying some schmalzlers. I am a little afraid of the perfume ones and I did not like the american sweets very much so I am staying away from fine/dry right now.

Also, I don't really care about the nicotine content.

QWS Sandalwood is doing the trick beautifully for me. The Toques I tried out of the Hell Box 2.0 (Toast & Marmalade, Bourbon) didn't seem as stout nicotine-wise.

I think I added some of the QWS Sandalwood to that hell box...I couldn't stand the stuff! Not crazy about the Jasmine either, but the Irish Coffee is awesome. 8)

I'm glad you added the sandalwood -- I grabbed a container of it and I like it a lot, but my husband complains that I smell like a furniture store! LOL

I saw you'd added jasmine too but someone else got to it before me, haha. I ordered some, though.

The raspberry and irish coffee snuffs I ordered were mostly to have something on hand that my husband might like to try. I'll try them myself as well, but so far I've not been real wild about the "food-scented" snuffs. Right now my criteria on whether I order something or not is whether I'd buy an air freshener or candle in that scent.

The Jasmine didn't make it to me either.

I'll start with Dholakia White. This is absurdly fine. I can sniff a scotch or a toast all day without any complaints but this snuff is finer than dust....
