Question about the snuff I ordered

Ok, I just cut and pasted the list of snuff I ordered a couple of days ago from another thread. I would *really* appreciate it if anyone with more experience could let me know which of these are easier (coarse/moist) to take and which are harder (fine/dry) to take.

Just for reference, I'm finding the QWS Sandalwood I tried from a box pass very easy to take, but the Toque Bourbon and Toque Toast & Marmalade give me an instant headache (straight to the sinuses I think).

I don't expect anyone to come in and like, comment on every single one (though that would be awesome, haha). But if there are a few that stand out as especially easy/hard... let me know.

    Blast Rum Special
FUBAR Grunt (could not resist, despite warnings I've read)
    McChrystal's Raspberry
    QWS Apricot
    QWS Irish Coffee
    QWS Jasmine
    QWS Sandalwood
    Toque Christmas Pudding
    Toque Vanilla
    Toque Grapefruit
    Toque Honey & Whiskey
    Toque Lavender
    Wilson's Royal George
    Wilson's Rum & Blackberry
    Wilson's Tangerine
    Wilson's Thyme & Lemon
    Wilson's Jasmine
    Wilson's Cinnamon

    Thanks

It's spearmint, though, isn't it? I despise both the scent and taste of spearmint :P

Wish it was anything else, I *love* the name...

The Toque Lavender is very moist. The Christmas pudding is too, but not as moist as the Lavender.

The only 2 on your list that I tried.

Honey & Whiskey was my first ever snuff, and has always been easy for me, but Roderick says it is a bit dry. I have never tried any of the non Toques on your list except FUBAR. And that one is anything but moist.

I imagine I'll be able to tell pretty well when they get here and I see them, but I'm impatient and can think of nothing else

Yeah, I'd heard the FUBAR Grunt was pretty rough. But with a name and packaging like that, it's impossible to resist

In have tried it every several months since I got it not long after I started snuff 10 months ago, still really don't like it much. But I just have come to know I like moist and courser snuff, just what I prefer to use.

But I think everyone should at least try everything, snuff so cheap, no reason not to.

i dunno, i didnt get much of an overpowering minty scent from it, but i dont have a very good sense of smell to work with. (i thought the toque cheese and bacon was vanilla from box pass challenge :? ) most snuffs are not that different to me, which is why im going to get some f&t snuffs, their scent descriptions sound pretty complex, and the one that i tried from box pass 4 (princes) was really easy to take, and had a nice long lingering scent, which im for the most part a fan of.

Yes, the F&T is very different than the Toque, far more of a complex taste in all of them

The WoS Rum & Blackberry one was...disappointing. It doesn't really manage to smell like either rum or blackberry, and has this artificial scent to it. Don't know why, but it's pleasant enough by itself. Toque's can be tough to take at first, mostly 'cause they're kind of dry and finely ground. Once you get it down, they're wonderful.

I have had all but one on your list, but it might be better if, as you try them, let us know what you think!

Everyone reacts differently, as far as the Grunt, use a careful technique, it will be the hardest to take, but really has the most to offer! Take small amounts very carefully and you will be rewarded. Your choices are good, but run the scale as far as sniffing difficulty. See my separate post about techniques, I hope it helps! Enjoy.
