    White -powdered- snuffs

Recently took advantage of one of the snuff vendor's "christmas specials" and trying some of these white snuffs. Namely Bernard Extra Naseweis & Bernard Tiger Cola to name a couple.

I know this is a stupid :?: but I'm slightly amazed that tobacco can be "white" like this. Is this really tobacco or has somehow nicotine been extracted and formulated with some other substance to produce these powdery white snuffs?

And to keep some spirit & usefulness to this thread. What are some other "white" snuffs along with some short reviews or impressions?

Those are tobacco free snuffs. They're generally made with a dextrose base. The only one I've had is the Bernard Naseweis Extra. It's good, but I don't feel I have to explore the category further.

Yeah, the really white snuffs are not tobacco, usually mentholated and sometimes with caffine. I have the Wilsons White Snuff, and for what it is, it's not bad. Just a blast of menthol.

Now Dholakia has a White Snuff, and I have come to really like this, but it's not real white, but a very pale tan. It is tobacco, and super fine.

I bought a few tins of the white snuffs during that sale too, namely the Snuffy Weiss that I've tried before and liked, Wilson's White (seems about the same as Snuffy), and a big tin of the Dholakia white. I mainly use the tobacco-free ones to add a little menthol to other snuffs and once in a while on their own just because I like the smell/taste of them. And I use the Dholakia when I'm feeling masochistic I guess :P

No clue though as to how they make the Dholakia so light colored. I really like the other 2 also, even though there's no tobacco or nicotine in them.

The white ones will do that...you'll get a "WTF!" look when you bring that white powder to your nose, hehe

Don't have a long history of other "white" snuff except back in the way younger and way foolish days. But then it only took one bad experience with it to make me say no thanks

                  The "Other" White Snuff

I used to enjoy the "Other" white snuff so much that I decided it would be best If I quit using the "Other" white snuff.Plus the "Other" white snuff was far more expensive than the "Other" Green stuff I used to use when I was younger. I do not think the white snuff will go over too well at work....I generally get funny looks when using the brown snuffs!! Nope.....No white snuff for me! The Wiz!

Dholakia White is NOT tobacco free. It is one of the most potent snuffs available today. Dholakia Herbal snuff, on the other hand, is tobacco free.
