I love the WOS Menthol Plus and Tom at Nicotine Rush has Dr. Rumneys Export that is almost as good as the original Dr. Rumneys Mentholiptus they quit making years ago. I used the Dr. Rumneys exculsively for about 10 years long long ago. I was really surprized and delighted that its being made again. Oh Happy Day!!

Yea, it used to be called Dr. Rumneys Mentholiptus Snuff
The new Export is not as good as the original. HOWEVER the WoS Menthol Plus is almost exactly the same as the original Rumneys Mentholiptus Its even better tha the Rumneys Export.

Update!

So I went on a Menthol quest and have the winners. I was surprised by some and hated others. The ones that have "made it" onto my rotation list are

Hedges is still at the top and I am still digging the Toque Menthol, MC O&G and COComfort.

I'm glad you like the Bernards. They aren't for everyone, but I like their take on the snuff theme. Which ones didn't you like?

I also haven't touched my FUBAR Medic since I started trying the other menthols.

I was reviewing the lists of suggestions and it seems i missed the POSCHL Lowenprise. That will be on my next order as will WOS Menthol Plus, JH Wilson Medicated and Red Bull..

I mainly use Hedges all the time. It's the one I reach for. The others that I like I use maybe one a day here or there when the mood strikes.

I like McChrystal's English Menthol and Rumney's Export too, for the official tally.

Löwenprise is licorice menthol. If you didn't like Wilson's Ice Licorice, it might not be worth the bother. The licorice in Pöschl's version isn't as strongly scented, but it's the same kind of theme.

I will definitely skip the lowenprise then. I tend to prefer anis to licorice in taste as it stands, but having either in my nose for any length of time is not pleasing at all for me.

Yeah. I love it and I started this thread to explore other menthol snuffs, but Hedges is still my #1. The McChrystals O&G and English Menthol also do a good job. The English menthol, I find, burns a lot more than the Hedges and the O&G has a nice citrus "floral" aftertaste (not flowers, more like perfumed citrus? not really perfumed....ummm, just try it if you haven't.).

I just like the flavor, grind and moisture in the Hedges the best out of all of the menthols I have tried thus far.

Oh yea. That McChrystals O&G is one of the first and only tins I've finished (a baby 4g) and have ordered a 21g since. - good snuff.

I've been leaning on this WOS Crumbs of Comfort lately as my bedtime snuff but thinking this L260 is gonna win out on that one. Going for another hoot now.
