    Thanks Everyone!

Thank you for all your kind words AND continued support.

Solutions to PACT are being discussed daily with others. So far, the ideas we've come up with are less than ideal, especially for the consumer, but may be workable.

That would be great if you could stay around. The good old days are about over, but the future would be better with NicotineRush; just a bit slower and more expensive :^)

good to hear. I buy snuff from both nicrush and mrsnuff, and will continue to do so regardless of PACT. I strongly suspect all of their customers will continue to support them. One thing PACT will NOT do, is cause we snusers and snuffers to abandon our products and our favorite retailers, regardless of marginally higher prices and slightly less convenient shipping. the frustration will subside, and we'll all be buying our products just as before.

again, REALLY glad to see nicrush trying to work it out. they'll always have a customer in me.

wow this is horrible. i kind of fell out of interest with snuff so have stayed out of this section lately. but that sucks! tom and his shop are in my opinion, the best!. i am truly sad to hear this. even worse than clubsnus dropping out.

NicRush and MrSnuff are moving to the UK, they believe they can bypass PACT by doing so. I hope they are right.

I am really beginning to think that Tom and Dave are going to be screwed somewhere down the line when this whole thing washes out.

I want to be optimistic, but I can't help to be wondering myself, esp now since Frank, or Frederick, said that Northerner will not be able to sell the nasal snuffs unless they are registered with the FDA. And, if the European shops could just sell like they have been, then why make all the effort to even consider FDA and PACT, since the snuff shops seem to think that because they are going to be in Europe, they do not have to consider FDA and Pact, and even the USPS will have to mail their items. I do hope they are right, but if they are, then why is Northerner doing all this new stuff, and even caring to comply with US laws?

Yeah they are taking a huge risk. We'll see, but I think I woulda closed up and waited to see if it was feasible before i spent a lot of loot to circumvent the law.

I think Northerner's setting up to be a major distributor to B&Ms in the USA. If they set themselves up to skirt USA law, they'd be limiting themselves to online only. I think they have bigger plans for the future.

Well, even if they can't sell to the US, they'd still be able to ship to the rest of the world, so maybe this was a thought, to stay in business, even if it's just to the rest of the world.

This brings up another question I had, if you are a European shop, and you don't need to care about FDA, or PACT, for sales to the US, and the usps must ship your mail in the US(which is what Toque, NicRush, and MrSnuff seem to believe, unless I am mistaken), then any odd European snus shop should be able to also, selling whatever you want.

True, I didn't think of that. But still if they do ship to the US they are opening themselves up to huge fines. I think it was you Tom who posted that letter from the tobacco retailers. They seemed quite happy about pact being passed. It would only take one phone call from them to put the gov on alert, if you know what i mean.

I think that is exactly it!!! My hope is that Northerner will keep both options open as far as ordering (both form the USA site and the Swedish site). This may have a lot to do with why they purchased Getsnus. Keep the companies separate in order to be able to offer both options.

In the end I do not think PACT or FDA will have that great of an impact on foreign sites. I think it is likely that they will eventually not be able to use USPS. However I think that will be the extent of it.

But we will just have to wait and see

How much do fines from another country matter? I know if I got a bill from the Swedish government, it would go in the circular file post haste. There may risk of having shipments seized, but that's the same as many other goods that go through the mail every day.
