I have MANY to talk about but I just had my first experience with a little WoS "Tom Buck" and what a pleasant scent it tis.

Haven't tried any of the Wilson's yet. I've been taking advantage of the great deals from Toque with the free shipping that's incredibly fast coming from Europe. Got about 10 more of those that I want to try, then I'll need to branch out.

Stuklu, given the two toasts that you have listed there might I recommend some Fribourg &Treyer High Dry Toast. It is the quintessential snuff and that by which all others are measured.

And Laz if you like ol Tom.............you have got to get some Grand Cairo

Haven't tried the Buck, but yeah, GC is good stuff, too.

Tom Buck is very good but the best snuff out of the lot is Wilsons Best SP and it's the only snuff I'll buy from now on. I've tried all of the WoS.

Toque Quit is very good but it's extremely dusty and no matter how gently I sniff I end up inhaling it - so I binned it. I really don't like inhaling snuff.

Poschl is very good but very weak.

The only snuff I like better than Tom Buck/Queens is HDT. A bunch of Toque and Wilsons are tied for third.

Grand Cairo is the bomb-diggedy.

SP's, at least to me, are the best all-around snuffs. My favorite being J&H Wilson's SP No.1 then probably Toque Original or GC. I also have a strong draw to Sam Gawith SP No.1...nice and earthy.

If you like W&H then you've GOT to try F&T HDT. It's smokier like a campfire and a little drier and finer so you'll have to be careful, but it's well worth it. It's nutty goodness works for me. And true, it's a solid snuff by witch many are measured. Try an American scotch but they get wicked fine and dry...and smokier.

I'm learning to love American Scotches aka Navy and Railroad Mills sweet. Different from my beloved Crumbs Of Comfort, to say the least.

As of right now, my two favorite brands of snuff is Crumbs and Toque's SP Extra.

Bernard's my favorite maker. McCrystals, Samuel Gawith, and Toque round out my favorites. I like Pöschl a lot also, with Gawith apricot getting special mention.
