I carry a tinful of General portions on my person for regular use, but I like to have another flavor or two in my briefcase for a change of pace during the work day.
and its too small. you could probably fit like 3 portions in it, maybe.

I have 2 of his Birds Eye Maple boxes and they are lovely.

I love animals more than people, so u can image my shock finding a thread like that.
Not to mention Tiger is illegal to sell on every level.

Thank you for pointing that thread out Tom

Are they really made of birds eyes? Oh, I love animals too, and hate to see them harmed or exploited. But really, with so much of our food coming from factory farming death camps, and clothing made of their skin, having an actual tiger bone spoon really would not bother me any more than anything else how we kill and exploit animals as we do anyway.

Yeah, if you're really determined it might hold 4 or 5. Minis would be quite a different story, though. But at that point, you've just got a very expensive snus container.

These things are much smaller than you'd think. Very easy to keep incongnito if you need to. Go for it!!

Did Tom mean ALL orders from the U.S., or just snuff orders? I don't think PACT applies at all to shipping tobacco accessories...

Thanks for the feedback on the size of the snuffboxes relative to holding snus portions! One still might work for what I have in mind--holding the small number of non-General pouches I might use on a given day for a change of pace. (My main daily stash is now carried in another expensive snus container--the Icetool snusbox that I suggested to my wife might make a nice gift for "someone.") But I think I'll hold off for now.

I'd like to buy one of these boxes, but what problems if any will I have when I change snuffs? Do I just wipe out the box? Will the flavors/scents mingle?

you just dump it out, blow in it (SHIELD YOUR EYES!! i learned the hard way.) and let it sit out with the compartment open for a day or so and then it pretty much loses the scent. i wouldnt recommend using moister snuffs in it, cause it dries out the snuff, and the wood absorbs the moisture, possibly affecting the sliding mechanism. i mostly used old paris and fubar grunt in mine. or high dry toast. and i only carried like a days worth of snuff in it. i wouldnt recommend storing snuff in it longer than a couple days.

If you are a confirmed Snuffhead, you *want* one of these among your accessories. Beautiful, beuatiful box(I got the Teak version), all moving parts slide back and forth perfectly, holds a good 4g of snuff or so. Even the little spoon is well done--awkward to use, but I'm getting there, and it avoids messy fingers and hands.

Mr. Collins is truly an artist. I think there are(or were) 10 of each variety, so don't wait.
That really looks sharp, and I love the way the wood boxes look. Don't get me wrong I really like my bullet. But something about the neatly crafted wood boxes add a bit of class and charm. Plus make it easier to convert new folks to the world of snuff. I'm gonna add this along with the icetool portion snus tin to my Christmas list to my wife lol.

I've only been using snuff a little while and to clean my bullet I've been using those compressed air whatever deals you use to clean computer keyboards with.. I'd figure it would work on the boxes too.

I really like the design and craftsmanship of these boxes, at least what I can tell from photos. Maybe in a few more weeks I'll order one.

I just dump out whatever little bit of dust is left, use the snuff spoon to scrape anything stuck in the corners and sides(then snuff it if there's enough!). Then I wipe it out well with a baby wipe(unscented, obviously).
