So no problems ordering toque? No hidden fees or import crap, just $20ish for the sampler? I'd love to try some.. I had a run in with WE Garrett a few years ago and didn't know what I was doing so needless to say I am still recovering.. haha.

You'll find Roderick to be a great fellow. He's a regular over at Snuffhouse, and posts semi-regularly here as well.

Keep us informed of your snuff adventures.

Edit: Oh, and don't be ashamed of the Cheese and Bacon choice. I haven't had the nuts to try it yet, either, but a lot of people apparently really love it. It started off as a joke, but according to Roderick it has become one of his biggest sellers....
sounds like a plan with the chocolate/coke want to try the easiest first. Yeah the cheese and bacon lol I don't know why but I just have to do it!

I know right, I'd rather use a rolled up $100.. And just jump up afterwords and start breakdancing with no music playin.. Thanks for the congrats

Yeah it was awesome. No added tax, free shipping, and good customer service the guy wrote me back when I had a question right away. It's a cool website check it out when you get a chance.

Edit - only issue I had was with my bank that thought it was a fraud charge yada yada it was fixed

Cheese and Bacon I've finally tried and it's strangely addicting although i'm getting a hint of a 'vomity' taste with it. Strange though, I can't keep from going back to it for a few pinches a day at least. I've yet to find a Toque that I absolutely don't like. They're all good in their own way. The one I did set down was the "Expresso" (I think). That one was one of my first and for some reason I just didn't get much flavor out of it.

+1 On Roderick's top notch service!

Congrats on quitting, Eric. I too am newly smoke free. Almost 6 months for me now. I started snuffing just today. Take a peek at my thread on it.

I decided that I'll definitely be trying 10g of it on my next Toque order. But my order last month was nearly half a kilo total, so it'll probly be awhile.

Then again, I'm nearly out of Lime Toast.

Nope, should be a piece of cake. You're supposed to claim it on your yearly State Income Tax return and pay your State's sales tax(however that applies in your State), but at present Toque ships for free. It appears to be going through USPS without problems, even post-PACT.

The only problem you might run into is your bank thinking that it's a fraudulent transaction if you don't already make a lot of purchases from overseas(happened to me with BuySnus once or twice). But that's easily cleared up with a phone call if it happens.

That is some good news on Toque shipping, I need to restock some menthol soon and finally try some florals and their toasts..

Toque menthol, natural, original, and spanish gem are awesome.

LaZer, I too think Espresso was meh... I expected it to taste like a cup of espresso but it tastes more like roasting beans smell. The flavor is solid but not what I hoped for.

Cheese and bacon is one I could not enjoy. I actually hate it. I think it is the cheese part of the smell that turns me off.

I have a complex relationship with Toque Espresso. I'm working very slowly on a 25g can of it now. It's a snuff that I really want to like. It has a good solid aroma. But for some reason, after a couple toots of it, I tend to get sneezy, and it leaves me with an ammonia kind of smell that I just can't seem to come to terms with. Maybe I just need to let it mellow in the can for another week or so.

I like the espresso a lot. In fact, it's one of my favorite Toques. Due the natural scents they use, it isn't super coffee like, like Dholakia's snuffs are, but it has a rich roasty scent that's like an easy to take toast.

Just to chime in here on the "Toque's Espresso" dilemma....I didn't care for it.

A lot and I mean A LOT of people love Toque's Coke....but nope, didn't care for that one either.

I hope I concur with you on the expresso flavor, it just intrigued me so I have to give it a shot. I allways wanted to try the coffee/vanilla snus but I heard it's been discontinued.

                              Edit - expresso = espresso

Expresso is the shipping company I have in the works that will be solely catered to the tobacco enthusiast lol

                                Update..

After recieving my samples and all I thought I'd stop by the local cigar shop to check out their snuff offerings, nomad you were right not much at all poschl's, ozona.. Walked out with poschl's gletscher prise.. Not too bad, I like the nifty dispenser. I payed 5.19 with tax. Damn general was like 7.95 a tin whatever. They had Los I might go back for one considering I haven't tried Los yet.
