Well I got my Toque order on Saturday between Saturday and Sunday I sampled all the flavors I received. I read these and other forums before trying snuff. So went in armed with basic snuffing knowledge. Overall the experience was enjoyable.
However I noticed this morning that after getting out of the hot shower I needed to blow my nose, and what I blew out surprised me. It was a combo of black tobacco mixed with dried blod clots.
I used the snuff what I would call moderately. Saturday I snuffed about 3 times and Sunday I snuffed 5 times spread out over the course of the day. I have read threads in forums where people claim to snuff every 20 or so minutes so basing my opinion off that I call what I did moderate. I also took care to blow my nose a few times as well between each snuff. Well I didn't take care, I actually HAD to blow my nose. But anyway.
I was careful not to get any snuff into my sinuses or into my throat, although the very first try on Saturday I got just a little into my sinuses (Boy Howdy!)
But interestingly enough even though I blew out some dried blood, my nose does not feel out of order in anyway. It might be the fact that we are having a bit of a heat wave and I have spent the last couple weeks hiding indoors hugging the air conditioner vent. But I am not concerned yet, just curious.
Do any of you more experienced snuffers ever get any blood clots or nosebleeds from snuff?
