(PSA) Ayr Nasal Gel

I lived in South Carolina for several years, during fall & spring (yellow) pine pollen from the Francis Marion Forest just covers everything which made my nose dry and itchy and caused nose bleeds. The Dr. recommended a couple of products for the symptoms one of which is Ayr Nasal Gel it’s applied to the inside of your nose (nasal passages) with a Q-Tip and I used it frequently.

A few days ago after washing a day’s worth of snuff out of my nose I found a tube of this in the medicine cabinet, I wondered if this would work for my abused sinuses. Well let me tell you this is great stuff cleansing, moisturizing and refreshing it’s available at any drug store or Wally World for about $5.00.

Toasts and Scotches dries out my nose and the stuff that you mentioned does wonders. I usually use this every other night before bed.

I was using the spray, but after reading someone's post about the gel, I switched. The gel works much better for me. I've got a different brand, though -- NeilMed.

+1 on Ayr products. Both the spray and the gel are terrific, and a godsend for us Toasty types.

I just got a tube of this, I paid around $3 and have to agree that it is GREAT! Before this stuff I had been using Ocean nasal gel which also works well BUT it has a funky odor to it, the smell reminds me of a personal lube, such as KY Jelly..I dunno, it just smelled gross.

Not really any smell at all with the Ayr Gel as far as I can tell, I use it whenever I feel like I need it and always before I go to bed.

Can you sprinkle a bunch of snuff into the gel? Sounds like another awesome way to use snuff!
