Export A's tasted great in the late 80's and early 90's but sometime after that they changed their formula and are not nearly as good.

In all honesty , I quit cigarettes because of canadian cigarettes . They truly taste like s***. I liked Marlboro and Camel much more ... I dont care if they have no additives , but they taste like they do !

        So probably never.
I used to order cartons of Marlboro from Europe ... I am in the same boat ... If i was to go back to the mideast , I would seriously be tempted ( 1.5 to 2 dollars a pack for DECENT smokes )

Dunhill is a tasty brand and my brand of choice when I used to smoke. Additive free and sugar free. Yes I just said sugar free. This makes it safer than other brands because oxidised sugar is the main constituent in tobacco smoke that contributes to lung cancer. Though Dunhills are far from safe they are better than your average Marlboro Red, plus Dunhill uses good quality tobacco. Charcoal filter's cigarettes such as the Japanese brand Mild Seven also reduces carcinogens and other VOC's in the smoke, there are a few studies showing that charcoal filters make the cigarette slightly safer, these can easily be found on google...

As for the other study here's the one on sugar in cigarettes and lung cancer risk that is cited in this article:
