    Piccanell

Anyone tried Piccanell? It is a Swedish Match product, a little less expensive than Oliver Twists. They have Peach which I tend to like a bit. I would also like to try Arctic Oliver Twists. Anyone tried Piccanell? It looks to me its cheaper to get Oliver Twist from Northerner or Buysnus than from American outlets especially because they don't rob you in shipping.

I will let you know in about a week. I ordered some last night(peach flavour).

Where do you live at in Knoxville? I am in the Cedar Buff area.

Hi Kidstaxi, I live south of Farragut near Harvey Road (off Virtue, Martell, towards Northshore a little) if you are familiar with it, but I do work near Cedar Bluff more or less. I work near Lovell and Pellissippi Parkway. Let me know how the Piccanell goes. I have a boatload of Snus and Oliver Twists. I have sort of drifted away from Snus so could give you a bunch of it. Also, I dip, but yesterday I used only Oliver Twists all day. I think I had five or six of them. This morning I put in a pinch of Longhorn Straight and it kicked my butt right after breakfast, so I took it out. A little while later, I put in a tiny pinch of Longhorn and it was still very strong. I guess I am weaning myself a bit off of the dip. Although I guess the first in the morning is always a jolt. I am thinking of sticking with Oliver Twists and then dipping only once in a while. I don't like having to deal with the dip at work. Oliver Twists are way more manageable than just about anything. I expect Piccanell's should be similar. Did you also buy snus?

Yes, I buy snus.. I have been on the snus since May, after 15 yrs of dipping. Like you, I got tired of the hassle of dipping(spitting and spit bottles).
It has taken a while to find my snus "staples", so to speak. Gerenral and Knox loose is what, I like the best, but only use them at home. General Sterk and N&J West poritions is what, I use at work and in public.
Other than the "Offroad" brand, I have like about everything that, I have tried. Just can't take the day in-day out of Fruity or Minty flavours, but do like them as "Special Treat" from time to time.
Let me know what you got that you what to get rid of, I will be willing to pay you for them.

I tried Piccanell Original and I do not like it. It is cheaper to buy tobacco leaf, roll it and cut into 40 pieces. Result is probably the same.

Maybe Peach one is little more tasty

I'd be curious to know where you buy the tobacco leaf.

kidstaxi, thanks for the information. Have you tried oliver twists? I didn't want to get redman because of the sugar content and I am into a low carb diet, but since I have lost 25 lbs by dipping and snusing, I may be able to try the sugar a bit now. Which redman do you recommend? Regular, Gold? I hear you can mix it with gum.

                        Hi Kids,

I got some redman gold. I like it! Don't want to get fat on it. I used to know this guy who was way overweight and chewed constantly. The doctor told him it was the sugar in his chewing tobacco that was causing his diabetes and big belly.
