Just a note between Ariva and Stonewalls. Ariva only has about 1.5 mg/ nicotine per tab (i think thats the exact # but don't quote me). Stonewalls are the higher nicotine level @ 4 mg/tab. For some reason they are marketing Ariva for smokers (especially women smokers) and Stonewalls for dippers. I don't know why they're doing that since i'm a former smoker and from what I read smokers prefer the higher nicotine content. Anyway they are a great product just try em out.
Stonewall and Ariva dry tpbacco bits -- any one tried them?

I tried the Stonewall Java today and loved it!!
I was in the middle of nowhere Southern Virfinia at this middle of nowhere gas station, and it was right beside the cash register. Makes sense though, it's made with Virginia tobacco and I was in the middle of Virginia tobacco country.
I really liked it. Unlike any of my other nicotine delivery methods, it really just tasted like a piece of candy. But I loved the flavor, and just a nice change up.
I think TropicalBob and I are a lot alike, we just like our nicotine in all the wondrous ways it can be had.

sage,
Did you try the wintergreen? The javas are great and taste like a sweet starbucks coffee. Wintergreen doesn't really taste like wintergreen to me it is more like a mint. Bob is right that they are like a breath mint. I like the java at night an in morning with coffee and wintergreen during the day. Good stuff!

I tried the Ariva since that's all I could find around here.
It was seriously sweet like one of those crazy mints. In fact in was just like a powerful tic-tac. Anyway not very much nicotine. I'll use up the pack after lunch every day.
I want to get my hands on some stonewall java. I'd hate to buy it online and pay shipping since it's so inexpensive to begin with. I might just have to since I can't find them.

I mentioned it elsewhere, but some little stoner-jerk at a tobacco shop in Kirkland, WA sold me a Stonewall today for $3.99, once I drove away, I noticed the wrapper said "Free sample, not for sale". Shame on me for not examining it before i put my money down. This shop also had 2 random containers on their shelf of Gawith's German snuff...it looked as if it had been there for at least 5 years, the label was discolored and one was sun-faded. I mentioned the tobacco mail-ban to the kid, he didn't seem very interested but told me he thought it could only help his shop's business as it would force people off the computer and into retail shops....I won't be buying from them again.

Just my 2 cents:
Both stonewall flavors are a travesty upon the tastebuds. And I mean bad. I'll take a dip of kayak before I subject myself to another one of those little pills of misery. No noticeable nicotine, I just wanted to spit it out as fast as possible and toss in a dip. The mint is actually the worse of the two, if you make me decide, and I only say that because I did manage to suffer through an entire Java, I kept hoping it would get better, right up to the point that it dissolved into a gritty slime in my gums. Both flavors are intensely "fake" and coat your gums in a gritty, chalky substance that isn't a far cry from that powder crap they make machine cappuccinos out of, only it tastes worse and has bigger "chunks."
I'll point out that I started out with a bias though. I WANTED these to work for me. Until I recently found snus I was dying for a cheaper way than the gum or patches to get my nic at work, and I was really hoping these would be it. Not a chance. I'm going to go out on a limb and say they intentionally made them so epicly bad so as to discourage children from eating them. But I'd rather go through withdrawal than suck on one of those again.

There have been a couple of times where I left home in a hurry without snus and Stonewall has gotten me through the day. I really prefer them to OT's which IMO smell and taste like Drum rolling tobacco, cheap and nasty. I will still use OT's from time to time but will never buy Camel Snus again since I get a bad reaction to them.
